Arena will periodically bug out in this exact manner. You'll notice that you can submit a deck at a higher and higher rank until it swings back in the other direction. From the 250 rank we're supposed to have to a higher 150 and back down to 350. When it's at that point, you gain very little rating per win. It may be as little as 4 or 2, or you may even lose rating when your deck wins.

It eventually curves back to its normal state, or zanz notices and resets it manually.

As is, the game hasn't been updated in two years. Zanz hasn't been back except to reset the servers once. He's insanely busy, I believe. Things are still chugging on without him though. Also, welcome back.

I am a bit confused about when you will get upgraded cards from spins. What I thought was:
1. special spins yield upgraded only in gold and plat
2. regular spins yield upgraded if the deck has the card upgraded

Now I unsure about the second, because I got unupped card (damselfly) and saw that at least five of them were upped in the deck.
Question1: Is the status of the card in deck (unupped/upped) relevant?
Question2: There are three options for the regular spin: always unupped/as in deck/always upped. What are the exact rules for each league?

Regular spins in arena always provide unupped cards, regardless of upgraded cards in the deck and arena league.

Speaking about spin, why is now harder to get cards from the False Gods' special spin? Back then, for each 2-3 wins I got I always got at least 1 card from the spin, but now even winning continously couldn't get me any cards. Is the probability getting smaller?

No. Probability is exactly the same. Though was very slightly altered for some gods who gained Shards, but that is simply because their decks have very slightly more cards from which to spin.
Basically your luck has changed, not the probability.

How can you see a creature airborne status (very important for using wings/web)? For some monsters like dragons and flies etc it isobvious, but others like animated weapons or vampires etc can surprise you.
