How ELSE would it work?

All creatures attack at once?  Technical complications even if anyone would want it.
Antimatter gives +max HP?  Totally OP.
Antimatter gives temporary above max HP until end of turn?  Silly and complicated.
You choose what order your opponent's creatures attack?  If anything they should have that ability.
Creatures attack in the reverse order they're summoned?  Counter-intuitive, and weapons would still wreck EM anyway.
It acts like other healing?  Yay!  That's both simple and makes sense.

By other healing you mean like SoGs?  At the end of your turn?  Or keep it the same?

Like heal, SoG, EB, vampirism, etc.  It activates when called, doesn't go above max HP, and you can be hurt after.  That is, the way it works currently.

Yeah you can be hurt after wards if I'm at 98 health and a Antimattered Light dragon and two normal Deja Vus I still get two damage (if light dragon was played first)

Elements is a game of strategy, knowing when to or not to use cards, e.g not antimattering the first thing on the field every duel.
Should bonewall make weaker creatures attack before the heavy hitters?
Creatures and permanents have an order of action, the game shouldn't be changed because the OP has a trigger happy finger.

I guess but it still irks me.  I still get the win with 90 something hp but I can't get a EM because its OPed if I could.
You can. You should antimatter the last one that attacks.
Please read the previous posts.  I said that I usually antimatter the first dragon or golem that comes out.  Vampire if available.  Guess what more usually come out but its needed to antimatter the earlier thing.
Is it really so hard to believe that if your opponent plays a creature, they will play more after that?
Think about your post, here. You are just asking for a way to make sure that you get an EM every time, because you don't think about what you're doing.
Most of the time you probably spend a few turns at 90hp....Being healed first, then attacked. Whatever the case, this just proves that you don't always wait.
Antimatter is a very situational card. Learn to play it better, instead of trying to change it. I believe we have more of a case of user error, than true design flaw.
