I've seen all sorts of abbreviations/acronyms on this website, so I posted the universal ones. "DS" for example, could refer to dissipation shield or dimensional shield. On specific threads, people abbreviate specific terms which only make sense in context, such as NT (nymph tears), so I only put down terms I was sure are frequently used.

This thread should also be linked to somewhere prominent in "newbie tutorials" so that new players can understand threads, lol. Something like  "but then he used pulvy on my grav tower so my oty starved to death cuz of the BS" makes absolutely no sense unless you know what pulvy, grav tower, oty, and BS (blood sucker) all mean.

Some of the ones you put (e.g. Wolves) I haven't really heard of before, however there is only one thing it could be (Werewolf) so I put it in...
yes some are only deck specific (only ever used whilst talking in one thread) but it's worth putting them on as a rough guide
as more and more add to this we can refine to the most common acronyms, clearly label if one could mean two things, and skip all the extras that are never ever used...

I was thinking colours here:
Green for 100% this is only ever means this (e.g. quint -- will only ever mean Quintessence)
Yellow for dual ones (e.g. bond -- can be either bond (best example I could think of off the top of my head lol))
Red for rarely used ones or deck specific ones (e.g. BS -- Blood Sucker -- I mean - I would have never guessed that EVER)

Wiki has some acronyms: http://elementswiki.co.cc/resources/elements-glossary/
cool thanks - I knew I had seen some type of list somewhere
I will put the wiki ones in here and check through to make this complete -- we do need on in the forum, as I for one do not use the wiki (often) and many other I'm sure do not either so it's good to have around here too :)
Equally - this thread can be used to update the wiki too :D

should I put the colour thing on or leave it?

p.s. loving the one under 'Z' -- Zanz :P lol

I strongly advice you not to use colors. They serve very little purpose and would only confuse users.
