Hope getting a nymph ;) and add Quintessence and you dont need to play further RoL´s against gemini. You could even copie the nymph then and remove the skill of all further nymphs to add light instead.(ofc before you quint)

Personally, I skip Gemini with that deck.  I also skip others people say are "easy" or beatable: Ferox and Rainbow.
I know anywhere I read Ferox is easy, but with a RoL/Hope he will get so much creatures and feral bonds out that his healing is about 200-300. You would need an instantkill. But with his shield you will need 20 dragons.. just space for 3 RoL´s.

I think the best way to balance the false gods is modifying their playing strategies. Making them not do really smart things all the time, and making them occasionally give you a better chance to win.
Some gods arent really smart, Decay will fractal your RoL´s. In general some gods that have TU´s or Fractals are overstrained using it right. If you have certain cards on the field they will copie them, because they have a cuter image than their own cards?!

Finkel good luck getting a white nymph and bring one along for me too. ;)

I wish so hard now that there was some sort of "nymph exchange". I'm going to make a poll about that.

Heh my rol/hope deck is the only one that actually beats eternal phoenix/rainbow almost every time, so not sure why you skip them :P. EP is easy if you control your RoL's, especially if you can keep them out when he fractals bc he'll fractal it instead of his own phoenix. Once he does that only play 3 at a time until he stops using rain of fire, and even after that always keep one in hand in case he draws it, but it should be pretty easy to win (he'll fill his own side with RoL's within a few turns so he wont be doing much damage even if you only have 1-2 rol out). Rainbow is just pretty easy with the deck, unless he gets a bunch of growing creatures right away, so yeah probably shouldnt skip him bc its one of the few decks that can actually beat him fairly consistently.

The problem is that eternal phoenix fire lances my RoL before fractaling (decay siphon lifes them). This little tweak in the AI, making them kill before fractaling, makes them both near impossible unless they don't kill all of your RoL before fractaling.

Also, with EP, it actually is far from that easy, because of the dragons. at 15 friggin' damage a pop, just two of them are enough to overcome your healing and shield and start to bring your health down.

Regardless of how you play your RoL/Hope against certain gods to be able to survive really hard situations, you will always have games your own deck is owning you by not getting Fractal, Hope, Dragon, RoL, Electrocutor.... for the first 10 turns or so...
Each of this cards can be the reason to lose depending on the god you fight.
Fractal.... almost all FG´s depending on how tough attackers there are otherwise 3 or 4 RoL(for hope) may be enough to survive
RoL.... all FG´s
Electrocutor... all with Retrovirus, Pharao and so on...
Dragon... all FG´s depending on shield and how late you get the dragons
Hope... all FG´s

Yeah EP can still win, but RoL/hope is th e only deck I run for FGs that actually can win more than lose against him. The key to getting him to fractal your RoLs from my experience is to try to get 2 out and dont play anymore till he fractals them. If you can get enough aether to fractal before him you can easily keep them that way, and he wont fire storm till you have 3. Once he fractals your RoLs you can play 3 at a time to get him to use his fire storms until he doesnt use anymore, then play more (dont have to worry about keeping one at that point bc you can fractal off of his). And yes if he gets 2 dragons it can be tough, but at least in the majority of the games i've played him he seems to fill his side with RoLs very quickly and doesnt get more than 1-2 dragons, which is beatable. You will still of course lose sometimes when you dont get a good draw or he gets tons of dragons or whatever, but yeah thats true of almost any fg.

At least RoL/Hope beats EP (i don't use RoL/Hope much but am 5-3 vs him). With all my Rainbow variants i am 1-52 vs him and 12-106 vs Divine Glory. Concerning Gemini with my RoL/Hope is 7-1 so i really haven't been having the same problem. Course that is a a pretty small sample size.

Gemini having phase shields against your RoL/Hope is no more unfair than you having hope and electrocutor against Gemini. Different decks will be strong against different decks, and yours is just weak against Gemini due to lack of permanent control. Most FG decks do not have this problem. Gemini needs no changes; shields are just part of its strategy.

I've very rarely had to face a shield against gemini until near endgame, where I've almost beat her. If it's with RoL/Hope it's an autoleave. If it's a Rainbow I usually have something to get rid of the shield by this point.

There's nothing wrong with Gemini. It's just RoL/Hope vs Gemini, and bad luck if she chains Phase Shields the whole match (but isn't this the same if Etenal Phoenix starts off with 2 Firestorms?) .
