Post reserved until I make a deck.

Important cards: mind flayers, for lobotomizing his momentumed creatures. permanent control (butterfly effect, ideally, though steals would work beautifully) for his shields, or momentums or chargers. shield to stop his damage/kill his creatures (permafrost, fire, spine carapace could all work). healing, to patch up the inevitable damage that gets through.

hmmmm. I'll cook something up when I have time. my RoL-Hope beats him as long as he doesn't draw enough shields to deck me out (about half the time or so) or an early electrocuter (which, combined with his shields, spells trouble with a capital T and that rhymes with P and that stands for pool).

For Gemini, Quintessence for your high damage creatures is a must. Otherwise, he will just use Twin Universe on them and kill you faster... also healing is vital (i.e. Miracle, Shard of Gratitude, Feral Bond, Vampire, ect.). I suggest taking Quintessence (the card), Ruby Dragons and momentum (to bypass his Phase Shields) so that you can deal maximum damage, as well as Protect Artifact, Electrocutor, either Fire Buckler or Titanium Shield, and a few of the aforementioned healing cards to beat him.

Also, finkel, i would not recommend taking mind flayer because of his Twin Universes. Unless you want to Quintessence them.

You can just post a deck anywhere on the thread, and I'll repost it in the first one so it'll be at the top.

NOTE: This is the recommended cards, not a deck.

Code: [Select]
4vj 58s 5rp 6rn 6u7 6u9 6ug 74a 77i 7ai 7al 7am 7dh 7dh 7di 7di 7dl 7dl 7dm 7dm 7gp 7gp 7q5 7q5 7q8 7tb 7te 7te 80e 80h
You can choose to run the Sundials upgraded or non-upgraded, same with Nova and Titanium Shield.

If you have one, Purple Nymph is a lot better then regular Antimatter.

Nymphomania is probably the best bet to fight Gemini if you know you're facing her next. best of all, you usually win with EM

I just beat him with this deck.

Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 500 500 500 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5v8 7jp 7q8 80h 80h
I didn't even need to use the eternity though. Save the first quint for a Purple Nymph and don't play the Black Nymph without a quint just in case he lobotomizes it. It's harder to beat him without a purple nymph, since you need :water for Nymph's Tears.

Just nailed Gemini with this deck. Spun him from oracle twice in three days, I EM'ed him both times.
The only upped cards you need are the dissipation field and at least one shard. You could also put a purple nymph in there for kicks, but I don't have one.
The (flying) pulvy destroys dimensional shields and grav towers, (flying*) eternity rewinds grav dragons and momentumed stuff for more fun. Oty munches spiders. And the mass of quanta soaks up any damage that gets through. (and in this case, any momentumed creatures he has is a plus- they're mostly healed by shards and ease up on your quanta-shield.)

Ok, you do need some upgrades to pull it off, and maybe take care with gravity quanta and sundials (which stop momentumed creatures). Unless he gets a really good draw, this should beat him. And when you do beat him, it'll be an EM ;D.

*Also, if you want to exploit the AI, remember that flying eternity has a higher target profile than spiders or grav dragons, but only does 4 damage ;P
(Just make sure gemini won't drop an electrocutor, or that you have a quint in hand if he does..)

needs some more decks that work well specifcally against Gemini

No rares or upgraded cards (Steals are for his electrocutors)
Make sure to keep enough healing on the table to counter his immortal creatures
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5up 5up

Strangely enough, I got Gemini from the Oracle, played a few Level 5 games to afford the above deck (without knowing that that would change which false god I played...), went up against Paradox... and still won in a nail-biter. Props to the deck!

FYI Playing an L5 won't change which FG you face.
