You want to change the game and the way that the cards have acted since they existed, not because there are bugs related to them, not because these changes would balance the cards, but because of one single person's thematic preference. And if you're the only one complaining, there probably aren't that many people that share your thematic preference.

I didn't actually say that, so you're not making a decent argument.
What I think you're referring to, however, is your misunderstanding of why mitosis does not work on flying weapons.
Also, flying weapons are not entirely treated as creatures, otherwise mitosis would work on them, and other creatures would mutate into them.
Mitosis does not work on flying weapons because it would be overpowered if it did. If the game was balanced thematically it would because flying weapon turns your weapon into a creature.
