Another couple ideas I had:

Time or Aether: use abilities immediately (might be too powerful)

Don't know what element this would be good for: Half coin cost for losses (since most people win more than they lose this wouldn't be a huge effect)

I think a cool idea (though probably a programming nightmare!) would be a small special bonus based on the type of element you are using as your mark.

Some ideas (just suggestions):

Earth: +1 creature life
Air: +1 attack for "flying" creatures (based on whether or not they have wings!)

Fire: +1 Fire mana/turn
Water: Opponents creatures cost 1 more mana to play

Light: -1 attack for all Darkness creatures (yours and your opponents)
Darkness: +1 life from life-draining effects (each vampire/dagger) (ie if vampire dagger does 2 damage to opponent you gain 3 life)

Entropy: 5% chance each turn 1 random creature will mutate (chosen from both yours and your opponents)
Gravity: Opponent creatures with strength >10 lose 1 attack

Time: +1 hand size
Aether: 5% chance attacking creatures will miss (a very weak fog shield)

Life: +1 life/turn
Death: Opponent starts the game with 1 point of poison

If anybody has better ideas, post them here!

I'll update this post with my favorite ideas :)

Definitely a cool Idea.  My suggestions.

Earth: +1 HP for all your creatures.
Air: +1 attack for all your creatures.

Fire: +1 Fire mana/turn
Water: Opponent's Creatures cost 1 more to play.

Light: You gain 2 HP per turn.
Darkness: Your opponents lose 1 hp per turn and you gain 1 hp per turn.

Entropy: The creature with the Least HP (either side) in play can not attack or be targeted. IF two or more creatures are tied for least hp, this ability has no effect.
Gravity: At the end of your turn, gain control of the creature with the most HP unless you already control that creature.  If two or more creatures are tied for most hp, this ability has no effect.

Time: +1 hand size
Aether: You always start the game unless you are against another Aether player.

Life: Your creatures gain 1 HP per turn (does not increase max hp).
Death: If a creature your opponent controls came into play this turn, it loses 1 HP at the end of this turn (unless it is burrowed or immaterial).

:)

Fire: +1 Fire mana/turn
So this one is a fire mark?

no, i think he means that it would be like a double fire mark.
Strike that, reverse it.

Its an extra ability based on your mark. So yes- Fire would get 2 fire quantum a turn.

I think forfeit has a good Idea with having this as an upgrade option to your mark. Nice Idea with the extra ability for marks.

-1 attack for darkness creatures is overpowered?

This could be combined with that ability somebody else suggested where you pay 2500 or so to "buy" a mark letting you switch to it for free any time instead of paying 100 over and over. So you could pay 2500 to buy the mark then once bought you could pay 5000 or so to upgrade the mark to get a small bonus like listed here. It can't be a huge bonus to keep pvp competitive with people who don't have upgraded marks just something to give a little edge.

yea, it's usually only useful 1 out of 13 times. (i say this because i've never seen a rainbow with darkness creatures.)
Forfiet said that ability is too strong. He must play mono-dark!  ;D

Great idea, but the one you posted for light is to strong. Maybe this could be a way to upgrade your mark, i.e. if you upgrade your mark these are the bonuses you get.
