Why is it pink?  Seems weird...

I know its not a big deal at all but I always thought it was strange.

Perhaps something more...

I must admit I like the second one better.

Doesn't parasite have the same background?

I demand a poll!

PS - I like the second one better. The pink always...disturbed me somehow.

I never took the time to notice. But then again, all the little aesthetic benefits are worth it in the long run. *glances at new Reverse Time art* <.<

The 2nd background is clearly gaining ground.

For some reason I got this thing against community polls...

But perhaps I'll add one soon.

p.s. the second picture I just did the best I could given the .png file, but I imagine an interesting background could be made if given the original piece of art with the devourer on a separate layer from the background.

I actually like the original background for 3 reasons.

1) Color contrasts strongly with card frame color and Devourer, causing it to pop out and be emphasized.
2) It doesn't really look pink to me; more of a light orangish-brown. And that's a very earthy color. And that's where you find Devourers, who burrow themselves.
3) Gray is such a stereotypical color for :darkness. We already have the grey frame; do we really need more? A little variation is good.

Heh. I just like demanding things. But given the way this discussion is going, it doesn't look like a poll is even necessary.

I am with you. The color black on the devourer pops more with a contrasting background.
