Title: Deck Management
Post by: ScrubVylokx on September 12, 2015, 08:41:12 pm
Hey fellow Developers :D!

I am ScrubVylokx and I am a veteran TCG/ CCG Player.
I've played a lot of World of Warcraft TCG + MTG and a bunch of others. I also play a lot of Hearthstone.
While playing this game and being creative with deck ideas. I noticed that I was missing something. and that is a Search Engine for cards (example; Type "Drain" in the search field and you will see all cards with the word "Drain" in their name or text)
Also show us how many copies of the same card we have in our deck instead of placing them under each other.
If you need any help with anything (Developers) I might me able to help you :D!

Have a nice day and I hope you guys will do something with these ideas, it would be really nice

Many greeting,

ScrubVylokx.

Your ideas are interesting, but with our lead developer (Zanz) being inactive other than times EtG significantly crashes or other major events like that, it's unlikely it'll ever happen. :(

Might I suggest Elements the Game Deck Manager (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=58303.msg1188627#msg1188627)?

EtGDM is companion software to Elements and includes some handy features. The link above will take you to the tool's main thread with all  the details.

by using the following tags:
[selfpromotion=shameless]<insert message here>[/selfpromotion]

also, there are not that many cards in EtG; it won't take too long until you know them all.
And it doesn't take long to find a specific card either.
a few hints to find cards slightly faster:

pillars are always the 1st;
pendulums are last;
shards are just before pendulums;
nymphs are just before shards;
A newly added card is put between the previously newest card and a nymph.

Not that the last tip is very usefull if you don't play for a long time...
