Title: [Arena] Challenging specific deck
Post by: Eleahen on September 21, 2011, 10:58:35 pm
I realised that I wanted to share the deck I built for Arena with my friend and I can't accomplish that. So...

What if you would be able to challenge any deck in the Arena by typing in creator's name?

No price. No rewards. Just some additional fun (and headache for zanz :) ).

Thoughts?

Um, no. Then you could play the #1 deck dozens of times until you see the exact cards it has.

People have already ruined Arena by posting top ranking decks and letting them be copied. Let's not screw it up even more.

minus top 50 decks
Which includes 20-0 platinum decks made by great players; decks almost guaranteed to be very powerful.

If there was "Import Arena deck" option on Trainer we'd all be much happier. Playing against Platinum deck or full FG-mode is not that different, but now you can't test Bronze-Gold league decks on Trainer at all.

I had an idea how to make it workable and bypass the copycat problem.

When you submit an Arena deck game could generate a code and store it in db.
By sharing that code you could allow other players to duel against your deck.

Wasn't there a thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,37543.0.html) just like this one?
