Haha, I have edited this 3 times now, i asked for help last two times, but i did it myself. heres the code:
Code: [Select]
body { background: #000000 url[img]http://elementscommunity.org/forum/Smileys/SoLoSMiLeYS1/fire18x18.png[/img]  top; }
h3.catbg a, h3.catbg {color:#681800; font-style: italic;}
body, td, th, tr {color:#000000;}
.windowbg, #preview_body {color:#335566;}

#header { filter: alpha(opacity=80); opacity: .8; background: none; }
#upper_section { display: none }

[profile_left] | h3 { visibility: hidden }

#content_section { padding-top: 0px; filter: alpha(opacity=90); opacity: .9; background: none}

#admin_content { font-family:"Lucida Calligraphy"; font-weight: bold; font-size: 14pt; table {visibility: hidden} }

#profile_right:before {  }
Basically to change the element of the icon just change the fire part of the code to the element you want (for  :air change ...SoLoSMiLeYS1/fire18x18.png to ...SoLoSMiLeYS1/air18x18.png) and if you want the big icons change the 18x18 part to 120x120 (so:...SoLoSMiLeYS1/air18x18.png to ...SoLoSMiLeYS1/air120x120.png) and if you want the square marks, change the end of the url to MarkOf*Element*.gif (in this case: ...SoLoSMiLeYS1/air18x18.png to ...SoLoSMiLeYS1/MarkOfAir.gif)

Thanks smuglapse

Yes, this topic definitely deserved a bump.  For some reason I was under the impression originally that you needed a certain number of posts to enable Ultimate Profile.  After locating this thread I was very happy to see that this was false (for me at least).  Thanks SG :)

You have over 1000 posts. What the hell would you be worried about? :P

A quick Google search turned up no results for stretching background images through CSS.  You would have to modify the original image using an editor, though stretched images don't look as good.  Try to find an original high resolution picture for best results.

Would it be possible to get the Underworld and other element marks added to the set of standard profile pics?  I've been wanting to switch my profile pic to that for a while, but being a lowly Jr. Member has its limits.

if you take a look at my profile, you´ll see my image covers basically everything and that there isnt a copy of it,
the image size is 1500x1500px,  I think thats the minimum it has to be to cover the entire page.

Depends on the viewer's screen size:

Here is the background line from my profile. I used the no-repeat option, and I guess what amounts to lining in up to the top.

Code: [Select]
body { background: #000000 url[img]http://imageplay.net/img/m7Gbd69075/christina.jpg[/img] no-repeat top; }
