Really appreciate HTTPS certificate renewal just working for oetg, & HTTP2, & having a test server easily spun up

When can we get HTTPS enabled for this forum too?

I'll put that on the list!

Bookmarks is also inaccessible via the button, just redirects to main forum page. I can access it in its entirety by adding a new bookmark, however.

I can reproduce. I don't think I've ever used that button... will investigate, appreciate the workaround.

Forum topics with an apostrophe in their name also cannot be accessed, like http://elementscommunity.org/forum/trial-of-entropy/13th-trials-challengers-entrance-67344/
Instead, they just open the subforum.

Hmm, I had fixed this for most. e.g. http://elementscommunity.org/forum/general-discussion/im-awesome!-i-have-12-of-every-card!/

I need to figure out why some work and some don't...

It does seem like all future topics created with an apostrophe are fine now. Figuring out which past ones work and which past ones don't will be a bit tricky.

Trial challenger's entrance posts do not open for Time and Light and probably other elements also:

Oh, this might be why my profile image bugged and the forum didn't allow me to upload a Pic instead of linking via imgur as I have it set now.

The shadow BBcode does not seem to work either. It works in preview, but not after it is posted.

For the trials board, I enabled notifications, but I did not get an email for the Questions for all elements topic. The topics before server migration did give me emails. I think this might be related?

Forum says I'm 1015 years old, because default year there is 1004... Every time I delete that it just simply doesn't change.

I'm able to change your birth year. Are you trying to remove your age?

I found something interesting. This only affects people with special characters on their keyboard.

When creating a new post or message, some of the special characters act weirdly now. I found 4 categories.

Cannot access this gem:

http://elementscommunity.org/forum/deck-compilations/compilation-theelkspeaks's-unupped-pvp-tier-list/

Drops into the Deck Compilations subforum.

Also, Sub's method for displaying those letters are cool. :D

EDIT: Ah, same old story... the apostrophe...

Administrator Comment the links with apostrophes work if you just delete the apostrophe:

  • Works fine: á é í
  • Messes up the text: (https://www.piepschuimletters.nl/images/productimages/big/kristenitc_211.png) (https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2013/07/12/16/37/alphabet-151279_960_720.png)
  • In messages, it becomes "messes up text" after a quote or preview, but works fine if sent without previewing: ő ű
(these work fine in normal posts)
  • Freezes the page if attempted to post or preview: (https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2013/07/12/16/55/alphabet-151510_960_720.png) (https://media.istockphoto.com/vectors/letter-vector-multicolored-outline-font-with-glowing-effect-isolated-vector-id825833680)

EDIT: Ah, same old story... the apostrophe...

These special character issues are especially insidious. I want to get them fixed and SMF is making it rough. Thanks for the report, I'll keep looking in to it. Side note: I really think we should plan out a transition to nodeBB...

Is this just sarcasm? :silly:

Originally I just wanted to say that it works fine for me as well. Maybe it was just a minor bork for serp.

Just did a bunch of updates so that editing posts works for anyone who was running into "This form is not secure" type issues. Updated SMF to the latest version, fixed a ton of broken URLs that were using http instead of https, and a lot of other cleanup.

Custom extensions are fixed on the wiki

That means forum account logs you in to the wiki again, card images are showing again, quick facts is working again, the opening navigation thing, and more

https://elementscommunity.org/wiki/Main_Page
https://elementscommunity.org/wiki/Aether
https://elementscommunity.org/wiki/Black_Hole

Tools should also be working better

https://elementscommunity.org/tools/

And I had fixed tab complete in Blab a while ago but didn't mention it

https://elementscommunity.org/chat/blab.php

(Although really you should be on the Discord with us https://discord.gg/qAmfB8T)

And we moved to https a while ago, but also wasn't mentioned, old http links should redirect just fine
