I never said you had purposed a simple pvp duel I was just saying what I thought about that.. you rarely come up with such inadequate ideas..

I was only making clear my pow: a simple match isn't enough to determine if one should be a master or not.

I will be the Master of Darkness if no one else takes the position. But I will continue to update the Darkness cards no matter what, unless they ban me.

Ok here ot is. Look at the text SG wrote about the Job in the first post of this thread.

I need 12 motivated individuals, one for each element, who want to help out the community.

Requirements and job description:
- You have been playing for a while
- You will become a Master of one element
- You will learn everything about this one element
- You know all the cards in your element, and you know how to use them
- You want to promote your element by building invincible mono-decks, etc.
- You will keep the "Cards" section of your element updated (you will be made a moderator in that forum section)
      - you make sure all the pictures are up-to-date
      - you moderate comments if needed
- You understand that this is a job (not a reward) and are prepared to do that job


You will get:
- Cool custom title (for example "Master of Death")
- Ridiculous amounts of respect from the community

Please PM me a short application telling me why you would be good for this job. Your application should include:

1. What element you would want to be a "Master" in (and maybe a second choice in case your element is already taken)
2. Why you chose this element
3. Why you would make a good "Master"


P.s. people who helped me to build that "Cards" section are naturally on top of the list

Update.

This is what's going to happen:

I will start appointing "Masters" based on the applications I've received. Thanks for sending them by the way.

After about 1-2 months, anyone can challenge these "Masters" and take their title. What the challenge will be, is still a mystery but it's roughly going to be:

50% your involvement in this community
First step will be some kind of poll where everyone can vote who they want to be the Master. The more votes you get, the more 'points' you get.

25% your skill and knowledge on that particular element
Deck design, chat quiz, etc.

25% your skills in PvP using that element
In the last step the best challenger will fight the current Master, and how well you did on the first two steps will determine how much advantage you get in the final battle

Basically if you do a good job and people like you, there is a small chance of you ever getting "fired" from the Master position.

On the other hand if you suck at your job and people hate you, you still have a chance of not being "fired" simply by owning everyone with skill

I might appoint someone who will organize this whole thing, but that's later.

I'll appoint Masters tomorrow in about 12-18 hours. Some of the less "cool" elements haven't received any application yet so now is a good time to get an easy title. Keep those application coming!

Well, since I know that someone applied to be Master of Life like I did, consider this my application to be Master of Water.  I know that will be particularly difficult, as Water is literally the element that is most dependent on other elements to get by (and all different elements at that -- Air, Aether, Earth, and Darkness, all for different cards!)  Monodecks are pretty much going to be limited to variations on Squid/Permafrost/Dragon-and-or-PufferFish.  But hey, I'm game.
