I've been on for about 4 years, and I am moderately active.  Can't really say I've had any sort of council experience, but I figured I'd give it a shot this time around.

Greetings, 

I'm looking to be on the council because this community has done a lot for me over the years and I'd like to do everything within my power to help it along. I am horrible at describing myself, especially my positive attributes but I'll do my best.

I'm very active, if my computer is on I have chat open.
I have a lot of time to dedicate to council projects.
And I can offer unbiased opinions on most aspects of the forums.

i have done forum stuffs and am a relatively well known member i guess. although that is not exactly what is wanted, it is a worthwhile quality.

i was CO for a bit and TO for a bit, i dont spam afaik, i can format.

All i'd do is create chaos, if i create anything at all since I'm inactive.

I've hosted SHUTs, which failed and fell into forgetness.
I was a PvPO, I failed to host TPvP.
I quit  the community multiple times
I got banned a few times.
I received a warning from admins.

All in All, I'd probably be the worst council member.

Hello once again everyone! I am applying to be re-elected into Council. Much of what was said here last time is still true, but I will restate some and be giving other reasons why I believe I would be a good candidate for council.

1. My availability is still great. I only work three nights a week at most, so I have an excess of time to sink into things. While I might not have the greatest presence in the forum, do believe that I get on every day. I pop into chat every now and then, even if I mostly lurk. Since I'm on every day I'm able, I can work quickly and effectively in council.

2. My knowledge of the forums is diverse. While I'm still not stellar in knowing about PvP, I'm relatively active all over the forums and my work as Brawlmaster is reflective of that. Because of this, I feel I am a good judge of what is needed for several staff members that Council hires. And, since odds are most of Council will be people who know PvP better than other sections, I feel my diversity will help all sections of the forum get some voice in matters.

3. I am dedicated. While I can't show my work for council this past session, I can honestly say I worked hard on many of the projects, and launched many of them as well. I can speak of my dedication in other areas though. I have been the social network manager for awhile now and I have done my best to encourage people on our social media pages and to post important links. Likewise, my work on Brawl stands as an example of my work. it is one of the big three forum events and I have been with it since the beginning, always working to improve it.

Hopefully, these factors and my past work speak enough to convince each of you that I would be a good consideration to keep on the Council for another term. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering me.

Well, I know you, you know me and I liked being in the council for a while last year. It motivates me to do stuff for the community a bit more (maybe I can finish once and for good the ultimate forum tutorial?) and pay attention to the stuff we need, like "We haven't had a CIA voting in ages! Our card curators should stop fapping and come back."

I'm interested in what other projects you are planning and in resurrecting the guilds, which started working fine in OETG with a little 12ish people community, credits to Shinki12345.

Hello Spike and other members who read it.

With this application, i would like to show my interest in becoming part of the council. I am worldwideweb3 (web, or www3 for short) and am very active and can be seen in chat nearly every day. While i understand that experience is important, i believe passion, attitude and activity is just as important, if not more. I have taken part in various pvp events and a few non pvp events. This allows me to gain more experience as to what is needed for different staff positions and will help me in choosing the best possible members for different staff positions. I will also try my best to keep the forum alive and keep the members interested!

I also assure you that i will get on well with the fellow council members, if i am chosen.Thanks for giving up your time to read mine and other members' application and i am sure the community will make a wise decision.

Hi there elements community!

The reason I want to become a staff member is because I want to be able to give back to the community what it gave to me. It helped me out a lot when going through a troublesome time of my life. With this incentive I apply, and if given the position, would try my hardest to benefit the community as much as possible for how long my term is, no matter what the position. The only places I won't apply is Guru and now newsletter because I don't like the nature of the job.

The reason I would want to become a council member specifically, along with the previous incentive, is 1) come up with new ideas to improve our community and 2) attempt to put these new projects into action.

I have no problem with working in small groups; its actually where I do my best work rather then large groups of peers. An example of this is working with my team in Brawl; where our team won the competition. I would always, if not at least often, ask for commentary of how I would attempt a project and/or my project ideas.
A current idea I have in mind is making it able for chat users to bold face one word rather then a whole comment for emphasis.

I'm very active on the forums and in chat. Usually if you forum PM me I will magically appear in chat shortly afterwards to see if you're there, then chat PM you for convenience instead of replying back instantly in a forum PM. My activity for the next council term is guaranteed as I'll also be hosting a mafia.

When on brawl I was a forum expert; meaning that to do the tasks I had to have a good amount of knowledge on all sections of the forums, which in my honest opinion, should be a requirement of becoming a council member. I have not had prior experience with being a council member but would love to be one!

I've been with the Element's community for quite some time, and have been on the Council for a while, as well.  I'm applying to Council to continue in helping the community where I can. I have never gone missing since I've been on the Council and don't intend any time soon... and actually, my activity has only increased in the past few months.

I look forward to working with whomever gets elected (provided I get reelected) to help improve things wherever possible.

My application is short, but I hope my history in helping the community speaks for itself.

I've been a member of this community for over a year, and it has been one of the best years of my life. This community has given much to me, from deep friendships to loads of experience. Right now I'm working as a Trials Overseer, Tournament Organizer and Competition Organizer in order to give back to the community. I have an active imagination would like to assist the community more with innovations and hard work. So I'm writing this letter to officially apply for the position of Council Member. If you think I would be a good candidate for the job, then feel free to vote on me!

I would like to be part of the council because I think it’s the best way I can continue trying to help the community.  I’ve been a part of this community in a number of different ways and helped out with a variety of projects - from my first staff role as a Newsletter Writer to my more recent appointment as League Organizer, as well as my more unofficial roles as a content creator (both in terms of match videos and my radio broadcasts The War Report), creator of the Unofficial PVP Achievements Leaderboard, and member of the group which helped revise the WC Qualifications.  I’d love to continue making this community a fun and thriving place to be, and I think being on the council will give me even more opportunities to do so.

I need a clarification, so I can vote for all applicants, but the order counts? And how should I send my votes to Root? A list of names with the same order as in doc?

The order is what matters. Your favourite applicant becomes your First Vote, second favourite is your Second Vote, etc.

Sending a PM to me isn't necessary for your vote to count, it's just a way of preventing someone else from using your username to vote multiple times. You don't need to send me the votes themselves (except as a way to remember who you voted for).

my effort in my app reflects how much i want the position. if i become council, thats ok and i will attempt to do council stuff however if im not council it wont bother me in the slightest.
