Here's something I had written up before and decided to post after the first reveal:
I've been thinking about how to come up with a word for this game. The way I see it there are basically two way. One is to come up with a close word the other with a remote/vague word. The first one gets you more easily recognised as a noob while the second option gives shocks little to work with.
I opted for the latter approach and came up with a combination of words that hopefully makes sense. (Gotta play my non-native speaker card here.
)
I prefer this way as early, random words add confusion on top but should help my case of proving I am noob (at a later stage) because the combination only makes sense when you know the exact word and you come up with it beforehand. Being close to the top of the list only encourages this.
I hope to convince you not to sacrifice me early by pointing out noobs with the same word which I assume should be the goal for the first day: Pick a group of people (3-5) that are hinting at the same word to eliminate a lot of possibilities for shocks to obfuscate. Just looking at the setup I am confident noobs will pwn shocks. (inb4 bastard mod gave everyone a unique word.)
Generally shocks will want to split themselves into both groups.
The runner-up for the first sacrifice is important since shocks will guess a word before they are sacrificed themselves and in the process drag someone down with them.
Rule question: did shocks decide the position of every single person? After my first reading I assumed they get two numbers and get to decide the order amongst themselves only.
It seems obvious that Coffee is noob. Let's see how easy he makes it for scum.
