If Hitman chooses to 1U either Sol or JCJ, we won't know whether they killed them with the 1U or the SU. That part was mainly there for humour.
That refers to the other abilities that notify the recipient that they were targeted. For instance, merchant's ability states "Target player is notified of this ability being used on them and are alerted of their cooldowns." Where the player is also told that their cooldowns have been changed. Something similar to this is in every role other than Doc, Observer and Hitman.

What was supposed to be a quick transaction between an aspiring Hollywood actor and a salt-of-the-earth pharmacy manager ended in a long, agonizing, bloodbath. No amount of corpse pretending or pill popping would save these two, due to the numerous cuts that stacked on their bodies.

Slipping away, the murderer took a handful of lollipops from the pocket of one of the individuals, only to toss it into a rusty outdoor garbage can after realizing it that their favorite flavor was not among them.

Because they're the ones who claimed to be targeted by "Rescue" and "Monitor".

I think we're over analyzing. Rescue is doctor, Monitor is Observer (*maybe* Student).

Well it looks like the second hitman's death confirms that neither of these are a hitman ability, so rest easy I guess.
