They gathered round his body, watching the slow rise and fall of his chest become slower and slower. A long and elaborate dagger was protruding from just below his rib cage. Blood spilled out with every heart-beat, drenching his clothes and spilling out onto the flour which he lay on. There was nothing to be done. The last moments of his life were unfolding. Suddenly he looked up at the crowd of faces, knowing at least one of them was responsible. "I have to tell you something." His voice was weak and raspy. "Something very important." He coughed and a small amount of blood gurgled out of his lips. He composed himself before speaking again. "My na-" He gasped in pain, before trying again. "My name doesn't have-" His face contorted as he could feel his last moments approaching. "... a capital 'E'." And just like that, he was gone.

Ok, time for some logic:
At this point we can probably assume the mafia work together, which means there are 2 possible reasons for being only 1 kill,
1. One mafia is already dead (unlikely)
2. Entropy got Life and saved the second target

If 1, we have basically already won, if 2 we can not hope for 1 kill per night anymore, and to be sure to win we have to assume the worst.

Well, that was my logic, unfortunately I do not have any good plan for this... I would say the best is to spread out the votes among the vanillas, but if anyone has any plan I am open to that.
