Unsubscribe option for threads

There are some threads that i've posted in like more than a month ago, then suddenly it pops up again by some newbies and gets all active again, while I stopped caring about it ages ago.
forgive me, but I find that it is actually frustrating to constantly see threads that you don't care about anymore, fill up your "new replies" list, in fact, Forum games are typically the ones that spam your reply box aswell. There should be an option to
unsubscribe from them.

I have come upon an old topic that suggested the same thing like last year, and it was never given any attention, which provoked me to start a new one and bring this to everyone's attention once again.

yes im bumping this, it is of urgent matter, im constantly getting too many updates from noobies and crap, please this needs to be solved or at least someone tell me why a system of such is not being implemented.

Is there an ignore button to prevent seeing "post your tournament ideas" and others like it? cause I would like to see something like that

Go back and delete your old posts in the topic, problem solved.

Edit:  On further investigation it appears you only get the option to remove your own post in some areas of the forums, not all.
