Newbie Area needs a mod

I think that the whole newbie area should get its own mod, sort of like how some other sections have mods, i think that a mod would be useful there.

Examples of why? I've yet to see any trouble there. Until it flares up, global mods can deal with exceptions.

Yes, I'd like to see a better argument rather than "it's the only section that doesn't have one."  If it becomes too great of a task for Global Mods to keep it under control then we can focus on a mod in this area.

I don't think this is necessary. There are no admin tasks that need performing in that section, and everything else can be dealt with by gmods if required.

right now, a lot of the tutorials are out-dated, I have helped a lot of newer players with their starting decks, beginner T50 decks, and FG decks (beginner and otherwise)
I would really like to post a tutorial there, unfortunately, no mods...

No mods is not what is stopping you from posting a tutorial there.  For one, only approved topics get moved there.  And by approved I mean topics that are widely referred to and are incredibly useful for newer players.  Secondly, every single section is prone to outdated information.  Whether that section has a mod or not, it will happen.  The section could probably use /some/ maintenance, but it's certainly not in any severe danger or anything to that effect.

If you have a tutorial for newbies, post it in General Discussion. If people like it and think it would be helpful, request that it get moved to the tutorials section.

Just suggesting i think each forum type should have a mod like how these is one for Game Suggestions and Feedback ,Troubleshooting ,Report a Bug, Elements Council. I think there should have 1 for this forums "Forum Suggestions and Feedback", Off-Topic Discussions and General Discussion. This will prevent alot of unwanted topics/post plus more modding will give more positions.

Let's get one thing straight:  Forum positions are not like candy, we do not simply give them out to people for insignificant reasons; we give them out based on that section legitimately needing help.  Troubleshooting and Report a Bug are different because they need people with expertise on a certain subject in order to make sure the questions are answered, problems are solved, etc.  Council has 1 moderator and only because we have a system of locking and moving threads which is very different from the other forum sections, which I will not go into more detail about.  The rest of the sections you have listed are currently all watched over by our 3 active Global Moderators, who have had no problems handling every other section that is without an official staff member moderator watching over it. 

As for this section, Daxx has already stated that Global Moderators can handle everything in this section, so there is no need for a mod here.

Just to add to Daxx's point:

If every single section has its own moderator, then global forum staff would be responsible for maintaining consistency and quality control between all moderators. This is way more hassle than to simply have a smaller team of moderators who do a little bit more.
