How did I get my Karma?

Is there a way to see which post gave karma or who gave it? I just found out about notifications, but I didn't have them on at the time. It's also my understanding that I can't view the reason for the karma, but I'm not sure.

Click "My messages" and use the link in your karma notification!

Karma notification PM is not activated by default. To activate it, follow these steps:

1. Go to your profile
2. Click "Modify Profile" and "Notifications"
3. Next to "Notify me when my karma will be changed", choose "Personal Message"

You will now get a notification that reveals the reason for all new Karma you get. Reasons for your old Karma will unfortunately remain secret.

We used to use a "helped" Did not help" buttons at the original MTG forum. If you accumulated enough "Help" hits your rank would go up. The higher the persons rank who hit "helped" on your post, The quicker your rank would go up.

I'm not sure this could be implemented to wards karma,  But if it could, You would have in black and white who does the most for this community.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, at the time of the original post I had already turned notifications on, was just wondering if I could see how I got the old karma. SG's post told me what I needed to know.

Or better: As good as it could get, except for the part where the rank of the person who rates plays a role.
