Even though it's off (hexagonal) distance is based on adjacence (touching), so still distance of 1

Spoiler for Royalty:
TTG: Best in describing the possible scenario

Spoiler for Bard:
TTG: Has the most detail, but thematically not matching (where is the water?)
Others: Weak. How does the places of interest connects to your kingdom?

Spoiler for Enchanter:
TTG: Clear winner, has a nice background and potential threat.
S7: has background but nothing "new"
Pyro: interesting new creature but no story

Spoiler for Crusader:
S7: Thematically matching
Pyro: Elegant
TTG: Thematically not matching
FROGS: Weak

Vine, for our bard task-- the entire thing is underwater. Perhaps we could've made it more clear, but did you expect jellyfish, coral, and seaweed to all live/grow on land?  :P

Enchanter
Tentacle: Nice card. Slowly leaching attack is a fun mechanic, and this looks like it's actually a balanced way to steal a creature.
Sss: Not a huge fan of cards where the damage is hard to calculate at a glance or of giving more CC to elements that have plenty.  It's a pretty good card in a vacuum though.
Pyrocloaks: Hard to judge.  It's essentially a strong attacker at a discount, but that's not necessarily a bad thing for water and in the right deck the conversion comes into play and you have to play a balance game...
FROGS: Too swingy in it's usefulness.  Completely shuts down a lot of decks.

ROYALTY & CRUSADER

TTG: I don't understand the active ability, someone needs to explain it. (shield can have active ability? o.O)

Has your opponent got an insanely annoying Octopus that you want to get rid of?
As Grasputin charms the squid, it lowers its attack each time it attacks you.
Eventually, you can destroy Grasputin's Aura to gain control (persuade) that squid to your side. The threshold is 0 ATK, because that's when people are least hostile towards you. On the upgraded, Grasputin is an even better charmer, so the threshold is 1 ATK.

And yes, it has an activated ability. I wonder why shields don't. They're fun.

Royalty
The Royalty part of this task seems to be almost missing from S7 and Pyrocloaks. A few words is all that is said about the possible consequences and those words are very vague.
Of the remaining ones, TTG's was better written, but I liked them both.
Winner: TTG

Crusader
Pyrocloak's government deck was cool, and I liked how focused and orderly it looks compared to the more chaotic people deck. S7's people deck is similarly more spread out and chaotic compared to their governemt deck, so plus points for that. The Life splash in TTG's people deck looks very out of place, but at least it is justified in the text. The Leaf Dragons in FROGS seems even more out of place though. The lore text describes its use of photosynthesis, but it can't actually use that in the deck, which is a bit bad deck design.
Winner: Pyrocloaks

Bard
TTG's map looks great, but somehow it feels more like a random collection of cool places than an actual map. Not entily sure why. Maybe it's the background being monocolored whie all the stuff is very colorful? S7's map is probably the best direct map imo, but it was made from a tool, unlike (I guess?) TGT and Pyrocloaks. FROGS looks tool-made and it's a bit boring too. Pyrocloak's doesn't look all that great, but it looks handdrawn and looks more like a map than TTG. Basically all maps have some ups and downs, so it was hard to pick a best one.
Winner: S7

Enchanter
TTG's card is very cool, a shield with a unique ability. S7 is also a cool new AoE card with a twist. Vapour serprent seems a bit odd and pretty strong. In a deck witohut air you can just spend a few extra water quata to buff all serpents you have. Siege is very hard to judge against the right deck it can be devestating, since it lasts so long. But against some decks it' useless. SO a pretty niche card which I only really see used in very limited formats.
Winner: S7 and TTG

Scribe
FROGS and S7 doesn't seem to be scams at all, but S7's wands could be a bit misleading with what effects they actually do. This is stated by the wizard though, so not that much of a scam.
Both TTG's and Pyrocloak's submission are similar with both framed as dialouge, and both are pretty good. I though Pyrocloak's ending was a bit more fun though.
Winner: Pyrocloak

Wizard
TTG's submission was more story than actual culture/history explanations, which I didn't really like. FROGS text was most varied, with explanations of several different things. The two remaining I felt was pretty equal.
Winner: FROGS

BONUS
From an effort standpoint, FROGS bonus task is very well made, and certainly not anything I expected. From a gameplay-standpoint however it was pretty bad. There are so much walking in this game that it gets boring, I think i spent most of my time in this game in the Mountains just walking back and forth. Some fast-traveling would be awesome. The tidbits of court info you got when completing the quest was nice, but sadly there is no way to reread them and get a good voerview on what was actually said.
Pyrocloak's story was also a  nice twist, but there was too little that actually described the court imo.
S7 was also short, but had moer interesting things to tell than Pyrocloak's imo.
TTG had the most info about their court (aside from possibly FROGS), and it was well presented too.
Winner: TTG

Challenge
Wow, this was hard. I must say I really like both designs. In the end I voted for FROGS since they went for something other than a sword.

How is a vapour serpent a threat to your entire kingdom?
It's just a big serpent.
S7's tornado has a small bio underneath telling you about emergency measures taken to protect the kingdom from it from it, and a seige is very self-explanatory as to why that's a problem. (Although I'd like to know what they're getting seiged by.) It doesn't have to be close to as extreme as I did it, but some context would be loved.

This is Vineroz's complaint.

Voting time:

SCRIBE:
TG and Piro came a little ahead imo

WIZARD:
Entries had different styles but around the same quality

BARD:
FROGS: A bit generic
TG: A bit crowded but okay looking
P: No comment
S7: Okay looking

ENCHANTER:
FROGS: Sounds a bit strong and situational to me
S7: A good card, but not something air needs
P: Interesting. It's more balanced than it looks at a first glance.
TG: Clear winner

SADER:
I liked all decks and gave similar voints

ROYALS:
Not much of a contest. Only FROGS and TG made decent subs.

BONUS:
FROGS: Good game, but it involves a lot of walking through areas you already cleared, which is something I'd change (for example, after clearing the mountains, there's no harm in adding an extra teleport that goes directly to the catacombs)
S7: The music was the best part of the submission
TG: The drawing was the best part
P: Weak compared to the rest

CHALLENGE:
Pirocloacks had the more aesthetically pleasing submission

Royalty/Crusader – TG and S7 have the best explanations for why their decks represent their governments and their people, and it’s not especially close, so they both earn 5 points there.  As for the description of the conflict, TG again as well as FROGS explain the situation well, while the other two gave brief explanations with little detail.

Bard – TG and S7 have maps that look much more crisp and like actual maps than either of the other two, and clearly deserve to receive five points each.
Enchanter – S7 has a very cool card that uses something other cards generally don’t care about: exact position, which is good for a clean 5.  FROGS and PC also have very interesting designs, with FROGS design benefiting from a more clear templating and a simpler elegance.  FROGS 3, PC 2
Scribe – S7 has a clever and witty pitch that `I greatly enjoyed, and receives 5 points for feeling like a well-tuned advertisement. PC and FROGS both have good submissions, but PC’s feels a little stilted in places, so I’ll give FROGS the 3 and PC the 2.  TG’s falls a little flat here for me.
Wizard – The letter format of the FROGS submission helps it be clearly distinguished from the rest, and I definitely want to reward that with a clean 5 points, as all four submissions are fairly good.  The framing mechanism PC used is quite entertaining, and helps earn them a 3 point submission, while the remaining two points will be split between TG and S7.
Bonus – TG’s submission is especially interesting here, and while they get an easy 5, the other 5 points are hard to distribute among three other similarly-good submissions. FROGS gets 3 points for being the furthest outside the box, while S7 picks up two points for the use of a song.
Challenge – the vote goes to PC, for while both submissions have good art, FROGS has zero explanation.

Royalty/Crusader

Pyrocloaks: People's deck is decent. The government apparently consists only of the King and Queen, but there's multiples of each? Doesn't really make sense. The Royalty portion is literally three sentences.
Frogs: The decks are good and paint a convincing picture of the political situation and daily life in the country. The Royalty told a good story but didn't mention the decks at all. If you just looked at the Royalty portion, you wouldn't even know it was dependent on another task.
S7: Decks were meh and the Royalty was as lackluster as Pyrocloaks.
Tentacles: The decks are very well put together. The only team that bothered to actually play the decks against each other, which I would consider a basic requirement of the task. It's missing a summary, though.

Tentacle's Grip - 10
F.R.O.G.S. - 9
Pyrocloaks - 1
S7 - 0

Bard

Frogs: Simple and clear. Looks nice.
Tentacles: Clearly had the most work put in, but everything is just kind of there. I see a collection of landmarks, not a country.
Pyrocloaks: Lacks polish. Apparently there is only one city in the entire country. Inconsistent with the Royalty landscape task and the roads don't make any sense.
S7: Pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

S7 - 5
F.R.O.G.S. - 3
Tentacle's Grip - 2
Pyrocloaks - 0

Enchanter

Tentacles: A cool effect, but looks overpowered. The converting effect has no place in Light.
S7: Excellent.
Pyrocloaks: Good card, but the elements should be switched.
Frogs: Does not make sense as an effect of a siege. Does not make sense as a permanent. Does not make sense within the context of Elements.

S7 - 5
Tentacle's Grip - 3
Pyrocloaks - 2
F.R.O.G.S. - 0

Scribe

Frogs: Fits a modern setting, inconsistent with the rest of Brawl.
Tentacles: Kind of gross but fits theme of the Empire.
Pyrocloaks: Not very believable.
S7: I don't see how this is a scam, given that you know the range of the effects and the inherent dangers in it.

F.R.O.G.S. - 1
Tentacle's Grip - 5
S7 - 1
Pyrocloaks - 3

Wizard

Tentacle's Grip -
Pyrocloaks -
S7 -
F.R.O.G.S. -

Bonus Task

Tentacle's Grip -
F.R.O.G.S. -
Pyrocloaks -
S7 -

Challenge

Similar art quality. Pyrocloaks get the edge for representing their country well.

Pyrocloaks - 1
F.R.O.G.S. - 0

I apologize for not voting for two of the tasks. No votes were rushed.

Total
Tentacle's Grip - 20
F.R.O.G.S. - 13
S7 - 11
Pyrocloaks - 6

Best submission overall not counting Wizard/Bonus: S7's Enchanter task. I would put this in the game right now. Could change after I read the other tasks, but it's not likely.
