do you have a favorite speed poison build? what is its win % vs t50? how about vs pvp? what do you consider its strengths and weaknesses?

scaredgirl posted this one in a different thread

uncle jellyfish posted this one

there were some comments about adding upgraded sundials in that thread. thoughts?

there are also a few people who think that it would be better using chrysaora instead of upgrading to physalia. scaredgirl prefers the upgraded for the extra damage that they do early, but some people say that the non-upgraded chrysaora are considered less of a threat by the ai, so they dont get mutated. there are a ton of fallen druids in the t50, and in many of the entropy mark rainbow decks, they come out faster than otyughs.

i am also interested in the people who have added squids to their poison decks. i would assume that these decks use death mark and water towers.

I strongly believe that 90% of players who say Chrysaora is better, haven't even tried it with Physalia. Upgraded version is much more effective because the damage it does, adds up. Also it helps to take down Bone Wall so that your Arsenic can hit the opponent.

I don't think I've ever seen the AI mutate my Physalias. Then again I haven't played this deck for a while.

The AI will never mutate Physalia, as the threat level of Physalia is not high enough for it to be targeted by spells and abilities by the AI.

They can be targeted by sniper and freeze and such, but never mutate or improve.

If you're interested in how the AI will treat Physalia and Chrysaora, have a look here: http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/User:Chriskang/Sandbox/10
The only difference, as far as I can tell, would be with the damage dealing spells (lightning and the damage-per-quanta ones).

I guess I did make a general blanket statement. I should have said that for situational defensive cards or abilities like mutate, they will never be targeted.

i know from farming t50, that some poison decks are still using bone wall, but i would guess that is a pvp version rather than t50 farming. i would guess that the same is true of the poison decks that run squids.

I've been using Scaredgirls exact poison deck for a good bit now. I love the fast decks, my others are mono-fire and shrieker. This one is almost as quick and doesn't have a lot of the weaknesses that my other decks have. Shields and sundials mean nothing, and rainbow decks are big in the t50 and PVP. As said by scaredgirl and others, the AI won't target the physalia with mutate or improve, so thats not a problem.

Mono dark can be annoying at times, and so can rainbows if they get a good draw and have purify(most don't, but if you're dueling people more than once they usually slip one or 2 in for subsequent games). This deck has the highest win % for me in t50 and PVP(can't give you exact numbers, never kept track) and is just a lot of fun to play. I still have yet to experiment with sundials and bonewall though.

The deck that I posted was an old prototype, it's not really all that great compared to Scaredgirl's version (which is the one I use for Top 50 and PvP most of the time).

Bonewalls, Squids, and Plagues have been used, but most of the decks I see with them are over 30 cards, and all of them are slower than SG's.

It would be possible to remove a Bone Tower and add an Improved Plague, just as some creature control (if they have some annoying creatures on the field, such as Mind Flayer, Oty, Elf, etc., and you lack congeals), but it's entirely up to you.

If I'm playing poisonand come up against mono-dark, I just quit. There's nothing in that deck I would even want to win in the slots and the odds are I would lose anyways, so why waste the time?

For me PVP isn't about winning cards I want or not, it's about my record. I know I can boost it up by just playing some crap computers, but this is mostly a pride thing haha.

does anybody have an accurate decklist for efhero's t50 speed poison? that thing is insanely fast. i usually lose the poison mirror to it.

it uses water mark and mixes bone towers and sapphire towers. it runs the standard deadly poison, physalia, congeal, arsenic, but it also has squids. i would be interested in seeing if squids replaced some congeals, or what. i think it is still only 30 cards.

I've got an accurate decklist (well 29/30 cards) for efhero, but I don't know if he/she'd want me to post it.  ???
