Fifthteenth Matchup: (i killed your rush, dead!)

For this matchup, there is the reigning champion:

 Napalm Grenade's Fire Rush
It is a cremation based fire rush that is similar to the V2 Fire Rush.  However, this deck incorporates 2 explosion cards for permanent control.

Code: [Select]
5f2 5f2 6rl 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dm 7dm 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dq 7dq 7dq 7dq 7dq 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 7f2 809 809 809 809
Then there is the challenger:

$$$man's Rainbow
This deck was put up for testing by $$$man.  Its a relatively defensive rainbow deck with a discord and 3 black holes for quanta disruption, as well as 2 "wings" shields with phase recluse and flesh recluse to web enemy creatures.

Code: [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u5 713 74f 74f 74f 77g 77g 7ae 7ae 7ae 7do 7gm 7k1 7n8 7n8 7q5 7q5 80g

Results:

I played 100 games for each side, 200 total.  (No farm decks)

Stats!:
 Napalm Grenade's Fire Rush:
Win/Loss= 83/17, 83%
Turns to win (TTW) of 6.52

 $$$man's Rainbow:
Win/Loss= 78/22, 78%
Turns to win (TTW) of 8.56

Another great performance by Napalm's deck.  A win rate above 80% is what really good decks do consistently on T50.  A ttw score of 6.52 means the games were nice and speedy.   Most of the losses (11 of them) came from battles vs rush decks.

$$$man's Rainbow deck did "ok".  While playing, what i thought of the deck went through multiple phases:
1. At first i thought the deck was awesome but slow..
2. Then i thought the deck was terrible.  (i lost a whole bunch of games in a row against stall and control decks)
3. and finally, i thought the deck was "strangely good" (but not really T50 friendly)

I did not lose to any rush decks.  That's 0 (zeeeeroo!).  That alone is a pretty strange statistic when playing T50.  This deck is great vs rush decks, but then it is weak vs rainbow control and stall decks!  This goes against all common wisdom when battling vs T50 decks.  T50 is usually filled with rainbow decks, so any deck that does badly against them should be doomed to fail.  But this deck doesn't really fail.  A win rate of 78% is not failing, it is actually quite good.

The deck is relatively slow.  A slow deck with zero permanent control.  WTF!  That sound terrible.  And sometimes it really is terrible...  if the enemy deck gets out a permafrost shield, then GG! you lose.  If the enemy gets out an otyugh or starts slapping you with antimatter, then GG! you lose.
But obviously you don't lose to every rainbow and stall deck, or it wouldn't have gotten a 78% win rate.  The deck can win against rainbow decks if you can deny them enough quanta with black holes, to pull off a "slow rush".

All-in-all, $$$man's deck wins a good amount... but does this somewhat slowly.  Also, this deck will get you into terribly painful battles against rainbow control decks.  As long as you quit out of these painful battles early, playing the deck will be pretty fun.  (i played them out and usually lost by deck-out)

Scoring:
By the new rules found on page 9 of the thread, the winner is determined by the ratio of: Wins/(TTW)

For Napalm Grenade's Fire Rush: 83/6.52 = 12.73
$$$man's Rainbow: 78/8.56 = 9.11

With Adjustments for Overly Long Games: (3 wins were turned into losses)
For Napalm Grenade's Fire Rush: 82/6.42 = 12.76
$$$man's Rainbow: 76/8.32 = 9.14

Napalm Grenade's Fire Rush has the higher score and is therefore the winner!

Winner is Napalm Grenade's Fire Rush

Dunno if this deck fits the things you are looking after, but if you don´t get any other suggestions feel free to give it a shot.

The deck itself is slower than most of the other tested decks but makes up for it with a solid EM rate (even against rush decks) and this is where its getting interesting. The timeframe is reasonable enough to compete with "faster" decks considering the current Score/E system.

You basicly trade cardspins for Score/E with this since your games last longer while you should gain significantly more Score/E per game.

I actually designed this as an alternative ai3-EM grinder and was quite surprised at its t50 performance.

Code: [Select]
7am 7am 7am 7am 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t8 7t8 7ta 7ta 7tb 7tb 7td 7td 7td 7td 7td 7td 7um 7um 7um 7um
As you can see in the screenshots below it takes quite some time to win so i´ll understand it if you don´t want to test it because its obviously a slower deck.

You have to do no clicking besides playing the cards so at least clicks/turn should be pretty much unmatched.

I´ve just played a "short" session with the deck so far, so i can´t say much about its winrate (mostly played against rush decks and couldn´t test against "stall decks",that could potentially turn out to be a weak spot).

I didn't go threw the 14 pages of post, but went threw a few didn't see a Mono  :gravity deck

Been A while since I've played elements(6 months or so), this has been my one of my main t50 grinder for a long time so I decided to see if it still works well.

Code: [Select]
744 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 745 745 745 745 745 745 748 748 74b 74b 74c 74c 74f 74f 74f 74f 74f 74f 74o
Always worked well for me, has problems with speed  :darkness and speed  :life

My stats with it this mourning

34-6
16 EM
Didn't count turns 6 farms played

May not be the fasted turn by turn, can be speedy but obviously it destroys rainbows/mini bows which are fairly popular in T50,

in what way does this destroy rainbows, this is probably the most easy to counter rush ever, and I for one always smile when it comes up as I know I can always beat it :P

Are you serious how does this destroy Rainbows?  Some one sounding so cocky, maybe you should play the game more instead of posting such rubbish.

Black Hole Destroys Rainbows, Gravity Nypmh is a Rainbows worst night mare.

I haven't seen anyone running 100% Mono Gravity in T50, besides the AI doesn't play it right, you should beat the AI more so than you loose, But run a Rainbow Ill be happy to destroy it with Mono Gravity.

Sucks when you have no quanta almost the whole match even with a pair of supernovas/electrum hourglass and a pair of shards on the Rainbows First turn, resluts Black hole long enough to get out gravity nymph
