Requirements: You have over 200 posts AND have been a member on the forums for more than 3 months

Each time slot is 4 hours. Click the links to see the starting and ending time of that particular time slot. You are not required to be online for the whole duration of a time slot, just pick the one that suits you the best. If you are a more active member of this community, you are allowed to pick multiple time slots.

2. Wait for the Mentor Manager to contact you and assign you an Apprentice
This might take a few days so please be patient.

3. Contact your Apprentice and start mentoring
You will follow a 6-step program designed by the Council and Scaredgirl.

The old system of posting your time zone has been discarded because it's not very useful. People can have the same time zone, but be online during different times. We need to know when people are online, not what their time zone is.

New rule:

Please pick one of the 6 time slots provided. You will then be assigned an Apprentice that uses the same time slot. Thanks.

I went to PM our Mentor Manager, only to see that he has more or less quit.

This means we need someone else to organize this whole thing. It's a pretty easy job, so finding someone shouldn't be a problem though.

I tried joining the apprentice thread but it's locked. I need a mentor for WoE. Preferably someone I can join teams with, I think that's how it works. I'm available time slot 6 or 1 I think. Anyways, I'm pretty sure you'll find me an excellent team mate very quickly.

How long does the mentoring of one apprentice lasts? And what exactly is required from the Mentor?
I'm thinking whether to apply or not.... The first question is because for the summer I'm shifting time zones (GMT+5 to GMT -1), So I have 2 months with my current timezone, then 2 months with the other time zone. If this is too long, then I can't really accept the responsibilities.... Otherwise I'll be happy to help new players :)

When the mentoring program was just starting out, mentoring a single apprentice took anywhere from a week to a month. You basically just have to giude your apprentice for a little while according to the "curriculum"(more of a basic guideline for mentors) and answer their questions.

As far as I know, this system is dead/inactive. But I'm sure there are many people willing to mentor you unofficially, just ask around chat if you want.

I didn't even know this program existed, but if you have any questions, feel free to PM me or post on the forums to ask them of the community in general. I'm normally online for timeslot 1 on weekdays and whenever I feel like it on weekends, plus I occasionally poke my head in during breaks at work. (timeslot 5/6) I'm pretty much never in chat unless a tournament is about to happen, though.
