This is a new Shard. There is a blue shard (Divinity) and a green shard (Gratitude) in the game, so I've had the urge to make a red shard for a long time now. I have tried this once, in the below link, but it was a bit too complex, so now I wanted to make something simpler.

This Shard will be a creature. I wanted it to be a creature, because Shard of Divinity is a spell and Shard of Gratitude is a permanent. And red is an aggressive color, so I wanted the red shard to be something that attacks. Also, right now both Shards have abilities involving HP, so I wanted the ability of the new Shard to also have something to do with HP.

Ooh. Ouch. Very cheap and very devastating. It seems to me like it needs some nerfing.

The easiest way to take this down a notch is to reduce max life drain to 2 rather than 3. I think that 2 is a reasonable number - quite powerful, but not powerful enough to be overpowered, even with Adrenaline. I'm assuming this also means that the damage of the shard is reduced down to 2.

Maybe the HP can be reduced slightly, too, just to make it easier to get rid of. 4 seems good, so it can be in Elite Otyugh range.

Otherwise, good card. This will make mono-Other an actually viable option ;)

very overpowered, but all the shards are overpowered. btw maybe have its damage be the lowering of the opponents health, so thusly a field of these would only kill of the opponents max life became 0

btw I don't know about lowering the max health of your opponent, what if it just destroyed some of the enemies quantums on each succesful attack? kinda like devourer except you don't get manna

yes i agree it would need some nerfing, say 3/2? and make it a cost to use max hp drain, like 4 any that way only 1 attack with count for the -max hp yet would still be a good creature?

That would be inconsistent with the Shards theme. Their powers revolve around the players' HP.

I remember Gl1tch making a card called Whither Beast, which also reduced max HP. Why was that one not considered to be OP?

OK, the shard is 2/4 for now.
his got the OP flag for 3 days untill it was nerfed by 2 hp, made it an active ability and increased costs.
at least drop the shard into RoF range.

now it looks pretty good, OP as a normal card but its a shard so its fine, lol idk if there is anything else to change but illbe back in about an hour to see. you could increase that attack if you ever feel its underpowered *when u update it more* because then it would be very nice card idk but if u ever do feel its getting boged down with UPness a little attack boost could make it an awesome card. lol iv messed with this card enough its up to you BS

2. Any reasons to use SG's templates, instead of Planplan's much more realistic ones? I know that Planplan's image generator is not yet ready because it cannot display quantum icons, but for this image I think the template is perfectly fine.
From what I read in the sticky thread, once the official card generator is ready, the old Photoshop templates will be discarded. That is going to happen eventually, so I don't see a reason to switch from this template to SG's.
