*Image gotten off of a website and edited via photoshop. May not be used in the game. I was going for amphorous for the upped version, but it may be TOO amphorous >_>.

I'm considering increasing (or decreasing) the cost by one on each.

NOTES:
The attack and defense would be from 0-5, so essentially you have a 1/6 chance each turn that the defense becomes 0 and then it dies. The upped version, however, will never die. The skills would be chosen from the mutation abilities.

The attack and defense would not stack.

Buffs would stay permanently, so if you got growth, for instance, the attack/defense would be randomly chosen from 2-7.

interesting concept

I was thinking about a creature that mutated each turn but you beat me to it

edit: does it keep buffs on it?

Yes, it keeps buffs on it. So if it were blessed, the attack and defense would become randoms from 3-8.

I'm unimpressed by the idea that it might kill itself 1/6th of the time.  HP should be M+1, IMHO.

That's why I'm considering decreasing the cost by one more. Then, for 3 entropy, you would get a new mutant each turn (that would average 2.5 attack) with a potentially awesome skill for the drawback that about 1/6th of the time it would die. Can you say "Fractal"?

In addition, the chance of it dieing would be a little less than 1/6 since you could get the skill lycanthrope or growth.

But yes, M+1 is an option too. I'm considering either decreasing the cost, making it M+1, or doing nothing.

I actually really like it in a way it is now. You want this card for its skill, not its stats. Changing skill every turn could give you potentially great control for a few turns, with a random chance of becoming a permanent creature (lyc, growth, devour) or with a targeted buff.
4 :entropy is relatively cheap for such creature, especially considering its skill makes the mutation always mono. 1/6 chance to die is perfectly fine in this situation AND the whole card fits Entropy.

Great work! Really hope this makes into the game.

and when does the mutation take place? end of your turn?

Should be the 'At the beginning of your turn' as during your opponents turn your creatures mean nothing.

what are its stats on comming on to the field? is it random, but since it is not the begining of your turn...
