It occurs automatically. It is an ability that occurs passively but stands active so it can be lobotomized(my intentions at least)
ie.
I have 90 HP, Blood rager has 7 atk
I have 80, Rager has 8 Atk
and so on...

If it cost a little less, it would be a great counter for rushes. Especially fire rushes. (provided you had SoSac or some other healing to survive).

5 :fire might be a little too low on the cost right now...

As its hp / attack stand right now, it would probably be cost balanced with no ability at all (definitely for the unupped... the upped may be ok) so either initial attack should come down or cost should go up.

The mechanic idea seems pretty fun though.
Stoneskin and SoD will be amussing with this... possible a little OP

One other very fun thing... It will make SoV more useful.

Aside from need a cost or attack power adjustment, though, I think its a pretty nice card all around.

I agree with most of what's been said.  Looks like a really fun card, but the cost and attack make it too powerful.  If you tweak those, I think you'll have a great card on your hands.  Halving the initial attack to 3 and 4, for instance, feels about right to me just on gut reaction.  Even if it had no ability, for instance, it's almost as good as lava golem/destroyer, and that card is borderline OP with its cost/attack ratio.

The best combo I see with it isn't stoneskin or SoD, though; it's shard of sacrifice :p

If I upped the attack could I potentially raise the HP a bit?
It's already a bit fragile. I don't want it too fragile.

Maybe half initial atk of each and increase hp of both by 1?
