Use Immolation on an ash eater, summon a Phoenix, then use Immolation on Phoenixes.

This is an unupgraded mono fire deck. Very fast and powerful.

Nice, if immolation works on a Phoenix, total win :D

If you replace ash eaters with photons, you can get out a phoenix on turn 1.

This deck is about as fast as the graboid/shriecker rush (~7-9 turns against AI3).

Just replace the Ashes with one Ash Eater, and two more burning pillars.  Same effect only slightly slower.

Adding some Fire Lances would make some use out of the large storage of :fire quanta you pack in this deck. :) I love Phoenixes.

And the Ash Eaters should totally be able to EAT Ash! :)

LoL u dun want them to eat those cute ashes do u?

since ash can not be in the deck, put in a few deflags/fire lances can help
or a few ruby drags since immolation can give lots of quanta

I'm not gonna use dragons with this. They aren't as useful because of their high cost. You can continuously spam Phoenizes using immoltion on them as long as you have them in your hand. Then next turn you just evolve all your ashes into phoenixes. Also, there isn't too much quanta build up for fire bolts. Most of the quanta is used fast.

It does seem a bit quirky how they don't have any relationship with the ash. The ash-eaters did come before the ash, though :P

That's why I want to suggest editing the Ash Eater slightly.

Ash Eater
2 :fire
2|1
1 :fire: Destroy target Ash creature. Gain +1|+1 and generate 3 :fire.

The upgraded Brimstone Eater would still be the same as it is now.

wouldnt be very useful except in a mono fire with phoenixes verse one without, since eating your own ashes in counter productive.
