Not-So-Guaranteed Boring Win vs Ferox https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=40950.msg506817#msg506817

Here's the deck I used... with a little tweaking I think it could deck Ferox out pretty consistently.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5c3 5c3 5c3 5c6 5c6 5c6 5c6 5c9 5c9 5c9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5rg 5rg 5rg 5ro 6rn 6rn 6rn 7aj 8pn

With the huge damage totals Ferox is capable of, and the massive healing this deck brings, the Shards were meaningless. I'd drop them, add one more EB (very important to get a few out asap) and if you have more than 1 upgraded carapace it will really help in the early game where things are the most dicey.

It should work without any upgrades though. I just threw the few upgraded cards I had in there for that extra feeling of confidence, but they weren't necessary - especially those shards.

Absolutely the most boring match I ever played though...

Added: In repeated tries with a modified streamlined version of this deck, I haven't been able to get the Carapace out fast enough to survive the onslaught. I think I just got lucky that first time out. Seems like this deck should work, but it just doesn't.

Needs a 2nd Eternity.
Or a simple RT.

Needs a 2nd Eternity.

The eternity is only there for the end game, recycling a photon. 1 + 3 time pillars is enough really. No perm control from Ferox, and no need to get it out early. If it's the last card to come out I suppose you would be in trouble, but the chances are low, and the deck works better overall without the redundancy.

RT then. And maybe one or two more time factories.

The 2nd Eternity or a simple RT is to prevent this.
