Love it, love it, love it, love it. It fits Death's ability to recover from defeat, and grow stronger PERFECTLY, and models the effect that decay has on the opponent even better!

Lich isn't too much of a problem, unless you've got a recovery type deck (say g'bye, Miracle lovers), and the ability to cause someone to lose their Mark can spell doom for efficiency decks.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

I wonder if Poisonous Cloud is strong enough. Does it effect your allies too? And if someone once entered that hex, does he still discard after moving out of it?

I like Death's skills. It's hard to tell how powerful the Champion Skill will be...

What if it was:

Your opponent must use X less upgraded cards, where X equals your level.

The minimum would be 12, and the maximum would be the level cap. Death doesn't really have any other abilities to help them in deck building / dueling. (Lich does, but only in a somewhat minor way)

You are increasing it's power much too far, IMO. Perhaps level divided by two(though I think it's fine as it is) would be acceptable, but not the ability to knock down 24 upped cards.

I do wonder, though, how it is decided which cards become unupped?

However I look at Death March, it seems to be a bit underpowered to me. For 3 AP, you can move 2 hexes forward and you can't move next turn. I would change the 2 hexes to 3. Right now, I could achieve the same result in two rounds while also capturing the hexes I move on.

Every round that you start inside that Cloud, you need to discard. And allies discard too.

Hm.. yea that might work, although I do tend to like simpler versions. I'll have to think about it.

Like majofa already said, it's the opponent who chooses.

The idea of that skill is that you can make a final push and get to your destination (Town, City, whatever) 1 round faster. You can also use it for escaping or attacking faster.

@Poisonous Cloud: People can just move away and stop discarding then, if I understand you right. Well.. Might be useful in some situations, but I can't imagine it seeing much use. 1 Relic for 1 discard. We will see..

@Death March: I understand that. I will get it next round to see how useful it is.

Poisonous Cloud could be a wonderful way to chase players out of cities and towns or to get them out of fortified or sieged areas.  Doesn't :earth have a skill that basically roots all players in place in a hex?  I think UW has one too that keeps players from moving for a turn.  Combo that with this skill and you've got a nice trap set up, especially if you can cast a new cloud each round or you have multiple players able to cast it and the effects stack.  A single player casting it each round on an opponent who can't move would force 6 discards in 3 rounds, assuming that clouds stacks.
Carpe Diem!!
