I've had a lot of hiatuses in the past, however, I met a point where the best objective decision for me is to call it quits. Mostly posting here out of formality and respect for others that may have been hanging onto a chance of my return. A lot happened and a lot of my views on things have changed.
Some reasons I'm leaving, for those that don't know me closely enough:
Personal reasons are the biggest. I rationalized that I needed to start focusing on myself more, to start taking care of myself before others. This is one of a few hard, yet necessary decisions to do so. I have committed to stop putting effort into unhealthy one-sided relationships. Relationships that came to a halt afterwards. Instead, I am focusing on healthy ones where I get back just as much as I put in.
Council-wise, things are moving very slowly when I'd like them to move faster. Seems like a lot of things in the community have been left to a few people with passion and not enough time, a couple with passion and some more time, and a lot of people that have simply run out of passion. The problem only worsens over time. The community needs to expand in anyway it can and fast. Otherwise, people are just going to start dropping like flies. Huge thanks to any and all of you that stick around to keep things going. That dedication is admirable.
I might pop in every once in a while, but I'll mostly focus on other things. Feel free to leave me a Discord DM/pending friend request if you need something personally.
