Instosis should still be just fine for killing false gods.  I haven't tried it since the change, but even assuming sundials are the #1 target for AI now...

-any FG without permanent removal will still lose (or win) just as often as before.  The only exceptions are Osiris and Akebono who now have (I am told) shard of focus; they were basically autowins for the player with instosis before, and will still probably be fairly easy
-any FG that has permanent removal was already pretty hard to beat with instosis
-if you're against removal, you can also play multiple sundials in one turn to increase the odds one survives.  I was already doing this in some cases, either to make sure one survived, or because I just wanted to cantrip them for the cards or get them out of my hand so I could draw more with hourglasses
-now that we have shard of bravery, that will probably make its way into instosis, and if you were really afraid of removal, you could just change out some/all of the hourglasses/sundials for shards of bravery

Rainbow control has always been my favourite for FGs because it's really fun.  Before Instosis, I've GotP Time was the most efficient FG farmer, and since it doesn't use sundials, if instosis really does turn out to be unviable (which I really doubt) then that will probably be the top deck again.  Unfortunately, it's just as boring as instosis :p
