...let's take advantage!

Let's develop totally unupgraded, no-rare decks that most experienced non-experts (hereafter "noobs" even though that might not be an accurate description) could put together in a day's grind that will have a solid win ratio against a specific False God or set of False Gods.

The point, of course, is to allow the Oracle's FG prediction to give noobs a good chance to win an upgraded card.

For example, if you were limited to unupgraded cards and no rares, what's the best deck you could build to take down Miracle?  Destiny?  Paradox?

I realize that there's little way to handle Rainbow, but most of the other gods have weaknesses that are exploitable if you know that they're coming.  Let's exploit them in the name of the noobs!

(Sample deck forestalled due to lack of time...sorry!)

Well, specialized decks for FG isn't a bad idea, I started altering my deck a bit when I know which FG I'm gonna face (adding Protect Artifacts for example or Purify) or a lot when facing Dark Matter (and would so if I'd see Divine Glory coming).

But I don't know if it's a good strategy for noobs, as you call them. They won't have that many cards to build a totaly specialized deck - and changing marks costs more than a win is worth (if you don't get an upgraded card).

As a noob myself, I nevertheless know of several good Elder-grinding decks that can generate the money for a mark change in very little time.  I usually don't change marks before grinding out a quick 200 coins in case I don't like the new setup.

Maybe a definitive guide like the OP proposes could supply not only a tailored deck for specific FGs, but also a quick-and-dirty Elder-grinding deck for making that quick 200 coins to change to the needed mark, and back if they want.

I have thought of the same thing.  I love the fact that, for at least one time you can know what FG you are going to face.  It has opend up the door to many less rainbow decks. I think that there should be a seperate forum for each god so that if you know that you are going to fight Rainbow, for example, you can hop on the forums real quick, look at the discussion on that specific God and find a deck that you could use.

I'll propose just that in the Forum Improvements section.

Hopefully this will revitalize the FG deckbuilding aspects, even if it's just one god at a time.
