Plays Ruby Dragon.
Plays Twin Universe.
Plays Twin Universe.
Plays Twin Universe.
Plays Twin Universe.
Plays Twin Universe.
Plays Twin Universe.
Plays Twin Universe.
Total damage dealt in 1 turn: 120.
You die instantly.

Will Gemini be harder if he had Ruby Dragons instead? It would be pretty hard to survive this one-turn blitz, unless you happened to have a shield ready, or you have more than 2 Shard of Divinity.

If it is, then maybe Chriskang should make something similar for his next False God Challenge. Like making Ruby Dragons cost less as an environmental effect.

Seriously, NO REPLIES?! Come on, people, consider this possibility. Would this make a God that is very hard, or very counterable?

First, I'd recommend replacing one of those 7 TUs with a Unstoppable.  Play Dragon, Unstoppable, and then 6 TUs.  Still does 112 damage and bypasses all shields.

Second, the main problem with this is that chances are slim that Gemini would do this all on one turn.  This means the player has a chance to throw up a Sundial and buy himself some time to eat those Dragons.  Nice idea though.  I just don't think the computers smart enough to hold onto his Dragon until he can play 7 TUs on it (or an Unstoppable and 6 TUs).

Gemini 2.0 (New name is Aries)

Mark of Aether x3

6x Ruby Dragon
5x Explosion
1x Electrolizer
6x Twin Universe
5x Thunderbolt
4x Phase Shield
1x Firestorm
2x Brimstone Eater
2x Phase Recluse
6x Aether Tower
11x Burning Tower

Everything doubled, lol. Would that be a better version? And yes, the single (though later doubled) Firestorm is for kicks and giggles, and a late game "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT." =/ It doesn't have to be added though, since there would already be 10 Thunderbolts.

Maybe the new Gemini should be named Pisces (twin fish)?

If Gemini gets a bad draw, he'll most likely have 7 or 8 TU in his hand. When he finally draws a Massive Dragon, he'll TU it 7 times. In the case of Ruby Dragon, it will result in the instant death of the player if he has no defenses.

Chriskang should make a False God like this for his challenge. Because all Gods will have 5 of every quanta in the beginning, the God will have enough quanta to play Unstoppable without having to splash for it.

I don't think that Pisces fits, as it's Fire/Aether, so I thought that perhaps Aries, the god of war.

Can anyone design a Fire/Aether deck that is hard? One that is fitting for Chriskang's False God Challenge?

Aries: Mark of Fire x3
12 Aether Tower
6 Burning Tower
6 Ruby Dragon
6 Twin Universe
2 Unstoppable
6 Phase Shield

As I suggested to Chriskang, the environmental effects in the Realm of Aether will cause Phase Shields to last for 4 turns or more. So in total, this God can stall for a total of 6x2x4=48 turns, and then blitzing you in one turn and killing you instantly. But then, this deck will be easily counterable with permanent control, unless you include some Protect Artifact or something.

Sundial + Otyugh or Sundial + Phase Shield + Ulitharid owns this build.

Since all four of those are common cards for rainbow FG decks, I wouldn't anticipate this particular build to be terribly difficult.

I agree. I believe that my build had more all-around control of creatures and permanents, and with more varieties of cards, would be a better addition to Chris's trainer, though not the special one for his challenges...just the normal one. =/

The problem is that everyone seems to be thinking about using Aether for control and Fire for the kill, which is back asswards.

FG deck (double everything):

Mark of Aether
7x Aether Tower
10x Burning Tower

6x Phase Shield
5x Phase Dragon
4x Rain of Fire
4x Explosion
4x Thunderbolt

Really straightforward.  FGs have enough life to survive until they can start putting out Phase Dragons every other turn, and Thunderbolt, RoF and Explosion pretty much take care of whatever your opponent might think he's doing.  Phase Shield keeps the life up so that the Phase Dragons have a chance to do their thing.

Optionally, trade out 1 Thunderbolt and 1 RoF for 2 Shards of Gratitude to add some lifegain to the mix.

The reason I was sticking with the Aether-control/Fire-kill concept was because I was trying to stick with Gemini's build, but replace Gravity with Fire.

Essence, that is not the concept I'm trying to use. I'm trying to use massive Ruby Dragon spam and one-turn kill.
