So I was pondering the advantages False Gods have over normal players (200 HP, triple Mark, double cards, double draw), and I wondered what would happen if False Gods could play each other (all played by the AI). Which ones would destroy others? Which ones would have a good winning % against most of the others, and which ones would get dominated by the others?

For example, Rainbow is often considered one of the hardest Gods to beat. But what if it went up against anti-rainbow god Dark Matter?

CC-heavy Gods (Osiris, Octane, Incarnate, etc.) can gain control of the field against players with no Quints/Immortal creatures, but what if they went up against Divine Glory?

Which matches do you think would be easily won, which Gods would have the most success, and which ones would have the least? Which Gods are evenly matched?

No. Osiris and Incarnate are weak against players because they have no PC. CC don't really matter because most players use "quinted" deck. Which is why Neptune is the easiest FG ever generally (full of CC but no PC). PC is what overpowers players. Eternal phoenix without explosions will be much easier.

In fact Divine Glory is slightly stronger due to the fact its creatures are immortal and cant be CCed.

I'd say Eternal Phoenix, Rainbow, Hermes, and Dream Catcher are worthy contenders. I'd vote for Dream Catcher, my fave FG.

Yes. However Ferox is another weak FG. Ahem. No PC.

But it is interesting to note that how PC seriously impact the difficulty of the gods.

Ferox has no CC either. He, Miracle and Serket are the only ones with no control, but they all have the rush factor on their side.

Indeed, PC can make gods very hard. The big PC offenders - Divine Glory, Hermes, Eternal Phoenix, Jezebel, Dream Catcher and Rainbow - are also arguably the hardest gods around. Chaos Lord, Decay, Octane, Graviton are Obliterator are also made much harder by their small amounts of PC.

This seems to suggest that there need to be more immaterial permanents and/or cards like Protect Artifact, as large amounts of PC have much more of an impact than large amounts of CC.
