Title: Crazy idea about the false gods
Post by: jackofalltrades on June 08, 2016, 11:28:53 am
Has anyone ever wondered which false god is the strongest? Wouldn't it be interesting to simulate a fight for each god against all the rest and have a results table to see who's daddy is who. It may lead to some creative stuff, maybe even balance changes.

I don't know if I posted in the right section but I thought since it's about the false gods, it should be right here in their section.

False gods are perfectly inbalanced. What i mean by that is there are intentionally some with stronger synergies than others, and a wide array of different win conditions for them. This is (intended) to ensure a wide array of different player decks have a chance against some of them. Of course, if you are farming them, there's only a few decks with a high enough winrate to farm.

As far as playing them against eachother goes, you could simulate matches using this simulator: http://elementscommunity.org/tools/xenocidius/simulator/ (http://elementscommunity.org/tools/xenocidius/simulator/) by inputting the deck codes for falso gods. this would give you an accurate picture of how they would play against eachother with AI playing both sides.

Alternatively you could use the trainer here: http://www.elementsthegame.com/trainer (http://www.elementsthegame.com/trainer). I don't know too much about it but i think you can set decks and HP/drawpower etc there.

Trouble with the trainer is that it never works. Few years ago i've used it for a bit, but recently since I got back to elements haven't had any luck. It says player limit reached. I've tried at all times of the day for multiple days now.

Thanks for the rest of the information though.

Weird, the one you gave me earlier is working but it has a weird interface, different from elements.com. I had this one: http://www.elementsthegame.net/trainer.html, I don't remember where form..

there are 2 trainers: the one u linked doesn't work anymore, the trainer linked by jcj is the real trainer used also for beta testing the 1.40 version of the game

also how this can lead for some creative stuff? if a false god win against each other god doesn't mean nothing, since u can counter almost every false god with 70% winrate deck in most of cases

http://elementscommunity.org/forum/upcoming-pvp-events/you-are-the-fg!-(tournament)/ into http://elementscommunity.org/forum/heir-of-the-false-gods/heir-of-the-false-gods-rules-and-faq/ shows fairly well which FG's are designed the most streamlined. There's more or less an obvious top 7 when you look at the deck archetypes and how optimized they are, but among them there's a lot of counterplay that affects the results in a different way compared to in an unrestricted round robin.
