Entropy's gotten quite a bit, between this and the powerful Antimatter.
Yeah, I agree. But this is what Entropy is all about.

The card name is funny.  ::)
A reference to the scientific study of Chaos, chaotic systems, and strange attractors, I think. Butterfly effect, Lorenz, all that fun stuff. Personally, I like the name.

The ability is nice, but the card description is a little strange. I'd rename it to "Target a creature with an attack power of less than 3. The creature gains the skill :entropy :entropy :entropy Destroy."

This would simplify things.

Great work, Zanz.

Lycanthropes , Microabominations and Photons ftw.
And as duo, you could e.g. use it on the forgotten Antlion.

Edit: And donĀ“t forget Armagio.

Just don't forget that a given creature can only have one skill at a time, so all of the creatures you listed would lose their current skill to gain Destruction.   It's just really too bad that it's not <= 3, because then you could potentially have a use for Graviton Mercenary and Hematite Golem. :)

You could always Quint the creature with Destroy to create an invincible Destroyer.

It's funny that I have a Chaos Theory book right beside my computer, and the first chapter of that book was "The Butterfly Effect".

I think I understand what this card means now. The Butterfly Effect states that arbitrarily small causes will have arbitrarily large effects; for example, the random wing-fluttering of a butterfly will be the cause of a large thunderstorm three days later. Another name for the Butterfly Effect is "sensitive dependence on initial conditions". The theme of this card is the same: a very weak-attacking creature (arbitrarily small cause), when buffed with this card, will be extremely powerful (arbitrarily large effect).

Excellent card, Zanz.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Interesting, but another card at cost 8+. (And of course much worse than a creature with the skill.) Still, it gives to a single element the chance to destroy both creatures and permanents in a effective way.

Im a bit worried. What will be next cards? Something that costs 12+? When are we going to have cheap good cards?

I have to say, this card is simply overcosted.  It's awesome mono-color permanent control (did Entropy really need that?), but investing 8 quanta in a creature modification that can be easily undone via:

Creature death
Lobotomize
Liquid Shadow
Rewind
Protect Artifact

is simply too much to invest in anything that isn't absolutely gamewinning.  This isn't like Antimatter where it's actually kind of hard to kill your own creatures, or Hope where it's untargetable -- it's very, very vulnerable.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

I was surprised at how many people didn't know or understand the "butterfly effect."
