Title: Old radio song
Post by: Techent on August 17, 2012, 01:59:28 am
Okay, so I'm sure most of you are familiar with the old radio found on the elements chat. It was water-themed. That's all I can tell you about it.

There was a certain song on the list that I really liked; I even favorite'd it on YouTube... but then I lost it.

Here are some lyrics, in no particular order:

The holy waters fall on your head... they should be dancing, instead...
...close your eyes and see... they'll keep on dancing, for me
Raining... raining...

Very slow-paced, almost euphoric sounding. I want to say the name of it started with an M, but I really haven't the slightest clue.

Lyrster and other similar search engines haven't been of much help, simply because it's a very obscure song.

More random clues:
The cover photo of the song is a girl with a hat, scarf and black jacket standing in an alley. Square picture, black background on the video. Maybe a title somewhere on there, can't remember it obviously.

It's several years old.

On the YouTube video, the top comment was "So November." It's been the top comment for several years.

But we really don't need to go into that much detail; if someone has the soundcloud link or any link at all to the radio, that'd be grand. I can just listen to it and find it again.

Nevermind; found it (thanks to a random nub)

Normally I'd just delete the topic, but this song is too awesome just toss out. It must be shared!

I'm really glad you liked it, 'tis a catchy song indeed.

For all who is wondering, the song is called Melankoli from the album 'Bless You', and it was made by the danish formation called Lulu Rouge (Thomas Bertelsen and Torsten Bo Jacobsen) in 2008.

The old radio mix is still available (for listen & download) through my Forum profile or SoundMixcloud.

Edit: I may re-upload the fixed version of it someday, if the stars will allign in my favor.
