Different Channels vs. Different Shows

The only problem I have with the radio is that it's a single "station" and yet plays many different genres of music. No radio station I know of does this. Most do have different shows with different DJs, but it's all within a sole genre like classic rock, rap, pop, etc.

Elements radio has (or will have, I don't listen to it often) 12 different shows each with a different genre. This doesn't really fit with the theme of a radio.

So if possible, I propose that instead of each element getting two hours, each element gets its own channel. The same music loop could be played but instead of just two hours, it would be played all day long.

As to shows where people talk, they could temporarily take over all channels.

Again, not sure if this is possible with the current software.

Idea was to have 13 different channels, with a drop-down menu in the player. However right now I have tons of other more important projects like Wiki going on, which I will finish first. This takes at least 2 weeks. Then I will build the Elements Radio website and we can hopefully start adding original programming.

Meanwhile we have 1500+ songs from different genres playing on loop.

Sorry for bringing up and oldie thread here. But I suggest adding a 14th channel, a rainbow, where they mix, not 2hours each. But around same amount of songs wich goes on shuffle !=)
