How to post standard Dek.im image in chat https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=59708.msg1207266#msg1207266

As well all know very well by now, Dek.im is the deck manager made by Antiaverage some time ago, and has quickly become the most useful tool in ANY forum-goers arsenal. That being said, not many in chat know how to paste it in there, to generate a deck image. Here's a little mini tutorial, to get you started.

Step 1. Obtain the deck import/export code from the deck manager interface of the game. This labeled as the [import/export] below remove all.

Step 2. Paste the deck code in the chat using the tags
Code: [Select]
[deck][/deck]
Step 3. Assuming you've done this all correctly, you should end up with a chat message like so.
Code: [Select]
[23:04:57] ‹kirbylover314› ‹@godofdeath500› Deck Image [deck]0c1 4t1 4t2 4t6 4t7 4t8 4ta 4td 4te 4tf 4th 4ti 4tj 4tk 4tl 4tm 4vr 56s 597 5fd 6rh 6ri 6rm 6rn 6ro 6rq 6rt 6ru 6rv 6s1 6s2 6s3 6s4 6s5 6s6 6ub 77n 7dt 8pi[/deck]

Clicking on said deck image, will give you the Dek.im page for the deck posted.

And if you want to use dek.im for your own decks, you can find it at http://dek.im. Just enter your deck code there, and it will do the rest for you!!

Enjoy!!!

I modified the post to be less broken, but honestly this information is already here:

Because people enter

Code: [Select]
[deck][/deck]
into chat a lot when trying to show noobs how to dump a deck in chat (and because that just gives a null deck), here's how you show them the code:

Code: [Select]
[\deck][/deck]
Chat doesn't show "\", but it break the tag. (Btw, if you really want to show "\", type "\\"
