now ash eater feels all left out
as much as I love fire, if ash eater receives a similar buff, fractal ash eaters + farenheit + bolts could get scary... not that it isn't already..
i agree why should the other creatures that five extra of there element when buffed cost 0 and now fires cant i mean sure firbolts and farenhieghts will get a big buff also with it but there are other creatures we can add to make it fair also maybe one for dakness and water to increase the use of drian life and icebolt???

I was trying the gemfinder on ritalin. It's strong but limited. Maybe I didnt make the right deck. If you really wanted to, you could make a fire/life deck. One cost won't kill you. If it's a cremation deck, simply use a photon or a gnome gemfinder or whatever. The ash eater cost is no issue there.

But in all honesty, I can't figure why the ash eater doesn't get the buff.

So really, what did you want with the ash eater if it did get the buff?

Eh, Fire already has Cremation so I really don't think it needs another quantum production buff.  That and these things plus Fahrenheit or Fire Lance would be simply evil.

I love this card - it's like firefly, burrower, and upped photon in its own way. It really does share a lot of characteristics with upped photon... and the example deck looks insanely strong.
