I used this deck and some luck to get 42 wins and 8 losses in pvp 1.

It's been a while since i posted one of these ninja series, but its back up. Anyways, just look at the original post here to see what the ninja series is if you don't already know:

http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,33456

Anyways, i tried a lot of decks and decided to go back to a deck i had a long time ago; this one. I got pretty lucky to not go against many aether stalls. This is the first deck in the ninja series with any PC(earthquake). I had some pretty close games using this deck. It may not be as effective as the shrieker rush, though. Anyways, the shrieker is a card i like just because when to use burrow and when to unburrow can be a bit of a hard choice sometimes, and i like more complex cards in this game. I did pretty well with this deck. I came across some fire element decks too, which obviously have advantages over this deck, and i still won most of my games. I'd play out my gnomes and wardens, and really annoyed the opponent with the wardens. So, sometimes the opponent would waste their CC on the wardens, and i could play my shriekers without them being killed immediately. Anyways, the wardens are very good cards. They can make you survive for a long time, giving you shriekers plenty of time to kill. Shields can ruin this deck, though. Dim shield chains and immortals destroy every deck that doesnt have PC in it. This one does, but earthquake cant kill shields. Fire shield paired with fire bolts and rain of fire is terrible to be against using this deck. Thorn carparace and healing can be bad too; you have to kill the enemy very quickly before the shriekers die, but if paired with healing, you probably won't deal enough damage. However, this deck completely denies PC because it doesnt have shields or weapons. The pillars can be hit, but thats it, and sometimes the opponent will wait for a shield or weapon to come up and save their PC. Also, some people use creatures as CC(parasites and stuff), which are delayed by the wardens. This deck is pretty good when used right, sometimes it can be outrushed if you dont draw early wardens. Wardens  are really important to this deck. And thats pretty much all i have to say.

Anyways, thanks for reading. Link to rest of ninja series is up there ^

Very interesting~ Why not stick in a short sword though? That could be a useful investment. You have sufficient CC, (wardens), but you completely lack PC. Not really sure if gnome riders are really useful unupped. I do suppose your idea of a "permanent-less" deck is useful in some ways. Pretty neat deck, though you definitely need some PC because wings and dim shield block out everything.

First of all, you forgot the pillar/pend split.

Second of all, Stone Dragons are much more resilient than Shriekers, I don't see why you don't have at least 2 in there.
Third of all, Earth decks, with well-timed Earthquakes, can easily deny Mono-Aether from playing shields. (Add more Earthquakes.)

So I'd do -4 pillars +6 pendulum -2 gnome rider +1 earthquake -3 shrieker +2 stone dragon.

Stone dragons cost 2 more :earth. If you want extra stability, go for dragons, faster damage, go for shriekers.

:earth :earth trials reponse :earth :earth

I really like the concept of a mono earth with some of the big beaters and enough disruption to mess up most rushes.  I think this deck would be a lot more stable if (as furball suggested) you use stone dragons instead of shriekers.  Stone dragons negate the affect of many cards that would ruin this deck (wings, thorn shield/fire shield).

Another change that would help you (especially against mono-aether which you noted as a problem) would be adding more earthquakes to the deck.  You could probably stand to run just 5 wardens and 5 gnomes to squeeze in 2 more earthquakes.  That means you will usually get an earthquake early (and in pvp very few people play around earthquakes until they see one) and hopefully kill a 3 stack of pillars.  That sets decks back a lot (especially mono aethers because their cards are so expensive).

Often decks like this would include a stoneskin or two, but I like that you don't have one in here because the wardens soak up a lot of quanta when you use them every turn.  You could sub some basilisk bloods for wardens, but in a deck around this speed, 6 turns may not be enough, and the wardens allow you to chose from turn to turn what their biggest threat you want to nullify is (which is very underrated).

Also since it is a mono deck with the same mark you can split your pillars into pillars and pendulums to reduce the effectiveness of enemy earthquakes.  It's a simple change but can win you games.

Here's what I came up with:
