This is my good old Pestal tweaked with Mitosis for more speed. Siphon Lifes can be interchanged with Improved Steals.
Question marks are Mitosi (or whatever you want to call it's plural form).
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
7ap 7ap 7ap 7ap 7ap 7ap 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t8 7ta 7ta 7tb 7tc 7tc 7tc 7td 7td 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 8pn
Advantages of Pestal:
  • Fractal works better for Vampires, since the Vampires' ability actually matters, unlike that of Pests.
Advantages of Pestosis:
  • Multiply Pests on turn 3 rather than turn 5 like the Fractal version of this would. Faster lockdown means earlier denial and greater chance to win.
  • Greater chance and use of drawing multiple Mitosi, drawing multiple Fractals early on kills Pestal (more Fractals in hand => less Pests copied), Mitosis doesn't care about a full hand, which is also nice for keeping Steals/Siphons in your hand
  • One mitosis is theoretically enough to fill the whole board with Pests, while Fractal relies on getting multiple Fractals to do so.
One disadvantage, three advantages. Although the advantages are less significant than the disadvantage, the advantages being more numerous allows Pestosis to be a good alternative for Pestal.

you forgot a disadvantage of mitosis, the clear vulnerability to cc.... just kill, lobo rewind or freeze the mother and you're toast, to fractal you just need one pest alive or in your hand...
also with aether you can have the lobotomizer
with life you can have bonds or emerald shield, (great vs decay and fgods with pc)

I have been using this slower version and it rocks at holding down the opponent. Really liking the this deck.

I've been trying some variants of this, and in the end, I think I prefer this:
Code: [Select]
7ap 7ap 7ap 7ap 7ap 7ap 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t9 7t9 7ta 7ta 7tf 7tf 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7umIt's tweaked for maximum speed, don't heal, don't hold back, just spam those Pests!

Question marks are Mitosi (still). Gargoyles have the advantage of not losing a precious ability when targetted by Mitosis, while still retaining their awesome damage|cost ratio (compared with Vampires). 12 Pends is also the perfect amount for getting that first turn Pest (more wastes space, less reduces odds of drawing 2 at turn 1).

Hmm... I run a deck with 4 emerald towers, 3 life pendulums, 2 feral bond, 4 mitosis (13 Life)... 6 obsidian towers, 5 pests, 4 obsidian dragons, 1 eclipse, 2 siphon lifes, 3 improved steals, 1 vamp dagger (22 Darkness)

35 card deck that has relatively balanced quanta, and can quickly overwhelm a deck. If the opponent has a bad draw, this deck will annihilate them.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

Denial decks aren't really built to counter those, so I think not. Especially not if it's a Cremation or Speedbow rush (which both happen to be extremely common).
