GGs! Was fun. :)
The win that i got was actually lucky, since a misplayed mutate made it possible! :)
Close and fun games, so all good.  ;)

Spoiler for Hidden:
I really liked the concept of "Discxrd" though! In review a perfectly fitting name. :) Well done.
Can't wait to see, whats behind the other decks.

"Beat the Highscore!" #2 has finished!

Congratulations to Calindu, RootRanger, Kakerlake and Pella for beating all 10 decks without losing a single time!

However, I will not give away the prizes (and the official placement) based on a marginal difference in the cumulated amount of losses in won (!) BO3's. In addition to the lack of excitement that would imply, challengers that "only" won 2-1 were already punished by having to face more ups in every further match. So, there will be an additional small tournament, featuring only the four best challengers mentioned above, to determine the final ranking! Stay tuned for more info!

/edit: All decks of BtH #2 can now be seen here!

The rules for the final event, deciding the top rankings, have been decided!

As RootRanger will not participate due to a general lack of interest in EtG at the moment, Calindu, Kakerlake and Pella will fight for the top 3! To make up for this, matches will be Bo7, not Bo5, as originally planned.

The rules are very similar to those in BtH #2.5 (posted by now). See there for an example for a legal and an illegal deck, but the rules posted below are the ones relevant for you three guys, not those in #2.5.

-Bo7.
-The 6 cards that may be replaced may indeed only be replaced. You may not add or remove cards! (In other words, the amount of cards in the deck after your changes has to be the same than it was before)
-No deck you used in a Bo7 may be used again in the same Bo7. (Applying different changes to the same deck skeleton still counts as the same deck) This resets in your next Bo7.
-Sanctuary in Flames is banned.
-When you replace an original decks card with another card, the deck may not contain more than 4 copies of the card you added. Pillars and Pendulums are an exception to this rule.
-Shards and Nymphs are banned.
-Deck codes must be pm'd to me. Match results must be posted here, the decks not.

Hit me up if there's anything that's not clear, otherwise have fun and good luck to the glorious top 3! You may begin your matches.

Pella 0:4 Kakerlake ... This was a humiliating loss.  At no point during the match did I present Kaker with a challenge.

Duel #1 (LOSS):  Scorpion Pit (mod)

I had a severe lack of :darkness.  Not that it would have made a difference.  Kaker had a hand full of Earthquakes that nullified my quanta sources as soon as I played them, anyway.

Duel #2 (LOSS):  Discxrd

Ghostmare worked great!  That is, when I could scrounge up the quanta to play it.  I did not realize that Marsu created two EQ decks.  Even if I had, I never would have guessed that Kaker would play them back to back.  :(

Duel #3 (LOSS):  Transylvania (mod)

His Dolls were of little value until he played Acceleration on one with 5 cards left in his deck.  What killed me was his fistful of Parallel Universe, which he played most prolifically on my Liquid Shadowed, Stone Formed Gargoyles.

Duel #4 (LOSS):  Lord of Weapons

Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.  That was until he played his "Steal Creature" spell--PU followed by something to kill my copy.  He did that to me TWICE in this duel.  After three duels of getting nowhere, "frustrating" doesn't even begin to cover it.

Good match, sir.  You dominated from beginning to end.  I never stood a chance.  Well done.

Kakerlake 4 - 0 Pella

1: Assault from below vs. Scorpion Pit.
Early EQ + RT, later a Tit Shield. Nothing that could be done here.

2: Poseidon vs. Discxrd
Again an early EQ hit hard, Toads poisoned occasional Ghosts that turned up. Nightmare hit me full scale, giving me with the first one already a full (-1) hand of Ghosts.
The damage race was still on my side thanks to the Toads.

3: Voodoo Rituals vs. Transylvania
Until half our decks were down, nothing much happened.
After a few CC's on Gargoyles, I decided to let my Pande pop, RNG was nice enough to RT 2 of my dollys and Lobo the 3rd one -.-
Later, Pella had a Vampire Gargoyle, which I PU'd and RT'd. And PU'd again and again.
When the deck was down to like 2 Cards, I finally managed to overpower the healing.

4: Spellmaster vs. Lord of Weapons
A mind game Trident left me without pillars, luckily I still had just enough Quanta to play most cards.
A few times Discord scrambled the quanta in my favor, so I was able to pull out a PU and CC when needed.

thanks for the games pella, sry to have made it so frustrating for you.

The fact that you guys finally managed to play some games is a pleasant surprise at least. :D Very interesting for me to see which decks you used and how you modified them.
