Perhaps playing one silence in a RoL/Hope deck could prevent getting decked out easier.  Just play it the turn before you kill.

That is actually a very good idea and easy to do. Allthough this does weaken the deck, when you apply it the way you just described, especially versus Divine Glory it sounds like a very good idea to me.

Should be easy to time once you have a few dragons out. (Fractal + Silence, GG DG!)

Copying this to the proper thread.

Win with unupped Hope:
Code: [Select]
5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5la 5la 5lj 5lj 5lj 5lj 5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 622 622 622 622 622

Might need additional pillars (or use upped Towers if you have them), because they are the only Explosion target and it seemed they would only last at most 2 turns before being destroyed.  A Light Nymph would be very helpful for this deck, as well.

Majofa, you might want to list the life deck unupped, because that isn't a lot worse, and it will show you can use it unupped either, I just EM'ed DG easily with this deck:

Code: [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi
Unfortunatly the unupped deck still does use rares, so most new players still wont be able to use it after they get DG predicted from the Oracle. Still good you pointed out that it works fine unupped.

I saw many useful decks here but devised a counter of my own because I had not enough druidic staves to use. Deck below has two rares but you can replace them with holy flashes or additional blessings.

Code: [Select]
5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5la 5la 5lf 5lf 5li 5li 5lj 5lj 5lj 5lj 5lj 5lj 5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 5rh 5rh 5rh 5rh 5rh 5rh 5rt 5rt
Fairly cheap but if you cannot spare the electrum go with only four hopes. This will still work albeit with lesser victory rate. It relies on deja vu's multiplying ability to quickly deploy many creatures to be feed treated with luciferin. Once you have undeflagrable light quanta source you should have no trouble putting up hope. Bless scorpions to seal defeat of this false god.

Couple of notes:

* When you have enough life quanta keep pillars in your hand until enemy has been affected with neurotoxin. He will play explosion to give him additional venom point.

* Luciferin now also heals you for ten health points. If you are going to be crushed use it even if no more creatures will get the ability. With luck you can gain mastery.

* The dune scorpions are required for Divine Glory not to deck you out. The blessings are for them. You can try to keep both dragons on hand and hope for a good opportunity to play them and finish this false god off but I prefer to put them up and let constantly growing poison damage waste all the miracles.

* If you have the miracles: good for you! That's almost guaranteed mastery if you can hold out long enough. Miracle will eat your light quanta but luciferin may be paid for from your remaining time quanta.

With some luck a victory may bless you with improved miracles for your personal use. I suspect that if you have the druid stuff you will be slightly better off with deck posted above.

What I used. A silence in there would work very well. However, it works nicely. Frac drags at the end to get past miracle.

Why an archangel and not a Morning Glory, Nymph or another dragon?
Dragon in last 3 cards or so could screw you over like this.

Tried this deck against Divine Glory

It worked, though it is pretty reliant on a nice draw. DG does not mess about in destroying aether pillars, and it got very frantic before I set up a Hope shield with 16 life to spare (damn fractal took forever to appear), with just enough photons with luciferin to block further damage. Then hand got clogged by all remaining copies of fractal and hope before I managed to pull off a last ditch effort using my dragons and a fractal. It's certainly a nice deck for those who don't want to spend the electrum but it's risky to use and poor draws really hurt.

Though I should point out in fairness DG had about 3 morning glories going before the hope shield went up, so I had time on my side.

Kobisjeruk's deck has potential, but it's not true you have to screw up to lose.

I got two fractals, two RoL's an Eternity, Hopeshield and Time Tower in my first hand.

Basically I managed to get 2 RoL's on the field, he blew up everything I had (mainly towers...), never got the quantum to fractal. You really need that fractal to survive...

ROL/Hope beats ass, too.
Note: Do NOT use Archangels as your primary damage source, or if you are pack a couple of silences. Decked out against him because of too little damage ;)
