Challenges

I wish to bring back the idea of CI&A challenges. I have an idea for one that I have asked Rutarete to host. When he is ready he will post the topic on the main Smithy section.

Each challenge will have a Design phase, Balance phase, Submission phase and Voting phase. Winner of each challenge will win the right to host the next challenge.

Please put in notes which challenge an idea is for, thank you.

While the first Challenge is being prepared please submit ideas for future challenges.

Clear Winner 5 points.
2nd place 3 points.
3rd place and no clear winner 2 points
voted on (when voting is used) 1 point

Can we challenge already posted card ideas or we must post new ideas after signing up?

Depending on the challenge.

For any challenges which might use judges after the submission instead of community based voting (if that's even a thing) I'd like to see a diverse population of judges to reflect both universal and individual opinions on criteria.

Or basically what you would have done anyway... wait I had and idea... carry on.

Everyone participating in the hero villain challenge be thinking of a new challenge because like I said before , winner gets to host next challenge.

 I thought of a few new challenges.

The first is called Complements.
The next. are Secret Words,Revived and Retempered.

I will only talk about Complements for now.

The basic rules:
A participant will design two cards that work together. Both unupped and upped of are required fo each .
The ideas must be of different elements. They may be of any type .
Art is not needed
Any additional rules will be provided when challenge starts
I am thinking more than one week will be needed for this.

Special challenge : Holidays
I need someone to host this challenge.

Rules:
Any holiday, from anywhere, is fair game as long as it is not offensive.
If a chosen holiday is not well known to the world please give. any needed. information. to help a viewer the means to understand the connection from idea to holiday.
This challenge should run until a week before Christmas .
Art is welcome but not needed as usual always the card idea maker .
