A good place to start is to look at the core themes of the individual elements and then figure out how that translates to a more distinct personality for the hybrid.
We are dealing with elemental opposites here, so one common underlying theme here is an underlying internal conflict. How this gets expressed is what will make each dualistic hybrid unique.

Another :darkness :light card idea. Playing off the theme of buffing and debuffing common between both :light and :dark
Also adds another layer of double edge and inversion thematics as well.

Spoiler for Dark Angel | Fallen Angel:
NAME:
Dark Angel
ELEMENT:
Duality [ :darkness , :light ]
COST:
5
TYPE:
Creature
ATK|HP:
3 | 4
TEXT:
Light of Damnation: on play, allies gain +1|+1, enemies gain -1|-1; on death, allies gain -2|-2,  enemies gain +2|+2.
NAME:
Fallen Archangel
ELEMENT:
Duality [ :darkness , :light ]
COST:
8
TYPE:
Creature
ATK|HP:
6 | 5
TEXT:
Lamp of Perdition: on play, allies gain +2|+2, enemies gain -2|-2; on death, allies gain -4|-4,  enemies gain +4|+4.

ART:

IDEA:
OdinVanguard
NOTES:
"Twilight's ominous glow shall beckon you toward a difficult road today."

"Today you shall watch as the tears of angels sweep the misguided intentions and broken dreams of the damned into perdition's maw. Tread lightly."

This ability triggers as soon as the angel enters play. The death effect cannot be removed by lobotomize.

It is not affected by its own ability, but can be affected by the ability of subsequently played angels.

Rewind will not trigger the death effect.
SERIES:

Spoiler for Alternate ability wording:
Unupgraded - "Grace: on play, allies gain +1|+1, enemies gain -1|-1;
Damnation: on death, allies gain -2|-2, enemies gain +2|+2."

Upgraded - "Salvation: on play, allies gain +2|+2, enemies gain -2|-2;
Perdition: on death, allies gain -4|-4,  enemies gain +4|+4."

Seems like a lot of advantage for one card, even if it requires another card to turn this into a stronger RoF. I'd suggest making it cost 6 | 9 instead; that way this + Holy Light at unupped would cost 7 quanta overall (which is the same cost as unupped RoF plus 1 card).

Why the Holy light? If you kill it it buffs your opponent's creatures and damages yours.

Thats the theme I was going for at least, it provides a nice benefit upfront but the risk is that the downside is far worse than the upside if it backfires.

My bad, I read the last ability backwards. Card seems fine as is, then.
