So I was playing a little while ago (2 years?) stopped came back and am now kind of clueless about what is good and what isn't now. Other than shards seems to be everywhere and I have none  of the cool ones ?_?

The deck I use right now is

4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vm 52n 52n 52r 52r 5f6 5f6 5f8 5f8 5ro 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u7 6u7 74b 74b 77i 77i 7am 7am 7ba 7ba 7ba 7ba 7ba 7ba 7q5 7q5 7q5 80h 80h 8ps

and I was wondering where to go from there.
I'm on 2.5K electrums and I'm not sure if I should keep going with this deck or just switch it to something else.  Probably a rainbow deck seeing as I have a couple Quantum Towers. I'd like a good AI4 farmer and a good FG farmer (I guess a FG farmer can do both though? Then if you can farm FG why farm AI4 but yeah...)
I read the AI4 farm topic from greenless but most decks uses shards I don't have.

I'd guess my deck would work better than an unupped deck but then again some unupped are probably way faster and thus better? Should I switch then upgrade as I go? Should I just sell everything and get another deck.

Other cards, out of the deck I use, I have that could give you an idea of what I could do are:
6 supernove, 1 graveyard, 1 aflatoxin, 2 pulverizer, 1 fire buckler, 2 cremation, 3 lava destroyer, 3 permafrost shields, 1 arctic octopus, 1 ulitharid, 1 elite queen, 1 eagle's eye, 1 pest, 1 fractal.
4 discord, 3 titan, 1 trident, 2 owl's eye, 3 eternity, 1 vampire stilleto, 5 lobotomizer
purple, grey, queen, light, turquoise

thanks for your imput!

Are there people still hosting "to farm deck" with shards/weapons only?

also FG grinders won't necessarily beat halfbloods. for example RoL hope relies on the opponent not having mass CC

What? Socks Wielder, please don't listen to him.

Your deck has much heal and CC. It's a control deck. Your Shard of Gratitude are much weaker without a :life mark. Sanctuary (:light card) is a better heal permanent. It costs a bit more but it's more effective in a stally deck like this.
You also need more Shields. Only 2 Bone Walls seems a bit too unstable. Your cards don't have enough synergy to be very effective in that deck. For exmaple Feral Bond + Boneyard isn't a really good combination in that deck, since you haven't enough CC.

My personal experience:

This deck I played last season in the Championship League (built for PvP!)

Another stall which fits better to your theme but didn't work as good as the other stall:

I didn't build these decks to have success in farming. I made two test runs vs half-blood (level 4):

Spoiler for Test 1:

Spoiler for Test 2:

Both test runs worked good. 2 EM's. But stall matches takes more time.

Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

edit: also a test run vs FG:

hmm interesting, as I said it's an old deck. There were no such card as sanctuary back then :D.

I don't usually run out of  :time quanta but sometimes if I draw too many SoG early I have to throw some away. I actually run out of  :death more often than  :time.

As for bonewalls I don't know, I usually only need to use one? The fact it cost 7 is a pain though especially with the boneyards. But the idea is generally to play all my cards, mutate a skeleton and rewinding him forever? If I have no boneyard not sure what I'd do.
Then again as I said I've been away from the game for a while so this might work well against top deck nowaday.

I'm less interested in PvP for now though and more about farming to get a bigger collection of cards and possibly play different decks :)

Okay, it was just an inspiration for you :)

To get a bigger collection I'd suggest to farm in Arena Leagues. If you are looking for unupped/upped grinder then look in this thread. Might be helpful for you:

If you have a rainbow stall, you might as well just go up to 60 cards.

Stalls are deemed impractical for grinding due to thier extremely slow speed, but they do have the highest winrate, so it does balance out.

Maybe I'm not so clear hehe.

Right now I have a stall deck that's doing a shaky job at best. Can't really beat FGs and it takes a long time to beat any AI.

I'm looking to change and the only requirement is that the deck doesn't have shards in it since I have none. I've seen these kind of decks that are said to have 80%+ win rate against AI4.

Now I'm wondering should I:
keep going with my own deck and work toward something along the line of what Odii Odsen is proposing
keep going with my own deck and upgrade cards toward a new farm deck like those 2 above
go with an unupped deck and work toward one of those deck shown above

Right now after a whooping 11 games I kept some stats: TTW is about 20 and 4 out of 6 wins were EM WR is 63% and Electrum avg is 34 not taking into account the upped or unupped I get. Now this is very early data and might be not so accurate but when I see decks with TTW around 10 or 6 it makes me wonder heh. Especially since they also have higher WR  :'(

Tried arena once but it seems I'm in the gold league for some reason? I don't have many good cards outside those in my deck.

Appreciate the help guys :)

If you really want to go in the rainbow control direction, go ahead and try http://elementscommunity.org/forum/rainbow-decks/rainbow-mass-mutant-%28no-shards%29/ . It's not nearly as effective as most other decks, but if you still want your rainbow control, there you go.

I would prioritize getting rares and shards from Arena, first. It's probably best to run a deck from the link Odii Odsen provided. The two decks you posted are also good choices, if you can get the electrum for them.

Rainbow Controls have no place against the AI because they are too slow. Rainbow Controls with Graboids and Lycanthropes are too slow and do not have enough defense to get off the ground. Your original deck also generated enough Time Quanta for your Hourglasses and Eternity. I would just stay away from bossitron's advice.
Somehow still around, somewhat

ohhh dang that scaredgirl is someone I remember. My current deck is what  it was based off of lol. (It's a link in the topic you linked) Seems it dates back to 2009  :o  Thanks eaglgenes101 haha.

I removed my SoG and added some Sanctuary instead and it seems better indeed. Plus it let me use my  :light.

What is the incentive for people to build deck in the arena? So far I built a deck it's 3-1 and I'm winning 9 electrum/win! Seems like a waste of time? :D

Btw, why do people use pendulum if their mark is the same as the pendulum? I just noticed in the deck above that the mark is :light and the pendulum alternate between light and the mark. A tower would do the same and give 1 quanta when played?

All the questions! what a n00b I am  >:(
