This is a deck I have. I would like to have some creature/permanent control in it. The only control I have is thorn carapace, so should I try to add a third element or add more shields or what? Anyone have any general suggestions to improve it? I am thinking of another few life dragons and adrenalines...

The thorn carapace is very good against fire decks, because it kills the seraphs and phoenixes even though they have the temporary immortality.

I am currently farming silver on it and would like to do gold (even though I don't get gold, I will get upgraded cards) Does anyone know of any way I could farm gold with a deck like this?

Right now it looks like you're going for a stall that also has a fair bit of damage once you're able to ramp up. The problem with that is since you have two different foci, you're going to be inefficient at both. My recommendation would be to pick one clear win condition or strategy, and then try to optimize around that.

Also, this guide (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/tutorials/9-tips-for-better-deck-building/) has some good tips.

Edit: If Anti-arena decks are what you're looking for, there's a good list (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/farming-studies-and-statistics/decks-used-against-arena-with-stats-1-32/) here, though the stats are outdated.

Technically, you've already built a trio. Those two Animate Weapon spell do count for a trio. We're not that pedantic.

This entire deck seems a lot like the deck we're using:

And seeing how our thinking process might have some similarities, I can offer you something that might work quite well.

(Works both upped and unupped, even though unupped is slower)

While permanent control can be useful in a lot of situations (namely, going against Emphatic Bond decks, lel), a lot of times you might find that all you need is some rewinding spells, thorns and emphatic bonds to negate your opponent. And since you have Eternity in your deck, you have no risk in actually running out of cards. Scorpions also provide some soft CC control against devouring creatures, such as Otyughs or Scarabs.

A SoD mod of adrenastaves has similar function to your deck, and might just work against gold too. It doesn't have creature control but with so much healing it is rarely needed.

The nymphs can just be replaced with adrenaline btw, and the dragons aren't mandatory either (swap them for other creatures if you like, I just prefer drags for getting past big shields. Frogs could be used instead to bypass gravity shield, or you could even add the spine carapace).

I've tried using a life light stall against the arena and it's not good. Stalls are too slow to be efficient money/score makers with the maybe exception of 500 hp elemental master stalls. Nowadays against gold it's really not worth it because there's some 1 hp/NaN decks and the only electrum you get is from cards spun. If you want to farm with a light life stall anyway here's an example of a life light stall with only the necessary upgrades.

Notice lots of sanctuaries, miracles and upgraded sundials. Light nymphs are for low hp gold decks and can heal some. If you don't have light nymphs you could have Light nymphs then you should probably not bother with creatures. Morning star is also for low hp gold decks. 6 thorn carapaces to get one early and 2 emerald shields can be useful sometimes against mono aether or you could replace them with life pendulums. Heals can be swapped with shards of gratitude for more total healing but less early game healing. The deck could also be made with mark of life (you'll want shards of gratitude instead of heals with mark of life), and light pends to use SoG effectively but the shards of divinity will be weaker.
