Need special help with quanta balance
Of course, other suggestions are welcome too. Like how to put in an arctic dragon or octopus, crawlers.
Whatever you feel like could fit in ^^ But try to keep the theme of buffed puffer fishes

First, try to get life mark and some pendulums here, are way better.
2nd, no need for Tears with this change, so -3 tears and get octopus instead.

For the tears, I would say epinephrine... It synergises most with puffer fishes.
The quanta balance change is good, though. This deck is too reliant on the life pends, and even you draw them, it takes a long time to get mitosis out.

the tears are meant to be used on life pends so that i get a life nymph which can give adre to fishes.
changing the mark to life and using water pends will not allow me to use adrenaline anymore as i get no life nymph.

i could still replace the pends with towers then?

With mitosis, no need for adrenaline any more, and octopus gives you a bigger advantage.
